Webmin

Hi,

I use postfix mailserver but mails to @yahoo.com addresses are not sent. The mails are rejected with this message: (XX is my IP adress)

How to solve this error?

I have a fresh install of Webmin, where i created a Backup Schedule of MySql Databases and added a mail confirmation for every successful backups. When i do a manual backup or automatic backup, even after a successful backup, i don't receive any mail.

I checked maillog, i don't see the mail being sent. Also, it is not in the queue. I tried with Sendmail being the default and also with Postfix after disabling Sendmail.

Note: Local E-Mail alerts like SSH login failure, SU alerts work fine, i can read them using "Read User Mail" --> "Username"

I installed hundreds of times Virtualmin/Webmin on Linux machines. This is a fresh install Debian 7.8/Virtualmin.

1) I login into Webmin account then I visit some sections. Over a while I get page not found for a section then the whole webmin content is not found.

2) I refresh the window, I can start again visiting sections, but over a while without activity visiting a section I get page not found.

3) I restarted webmin service. Same behavior. I restarted the whole server, same behavior.

ubuntu 14; webmin 1.74 - same setup on 6 cloud servers (elastichsosts.com). Exact same scripts work fine from old Debian 6 servers. Cannot find any way to set the path to rmt

have tried symlink from /usr/lib/tar/rmt to /usr/sbin/rmt-tar but no change.

For one of my clients I have to add an SRV record, for outlook exchange purposes. Can anyone tell me how to process the SRV record below into Webmin / Virtualmin Bind:

Strange thing,

my postfix mailqueue fills up and i cannot flush the mails. Normal mails work via Outlook etc, but mails generated from system like newsletter or other webbased software keep hanging forever. I am pretty sure, it is some Postfix setting, but i can't see it.

Any idea, which setting this might be and how i can fix it?

Since upgrading from Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04.2, I recive the following error when attempting to start apache2:

Failed to start apache :

• Starting web server apache2
• The apache2 configtest failed. Output of config test was: AH00526: Syntax error on line 57 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Invalid command 'LockFile', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration Action 'configtest' failed. The Apache error log may have more information.

after each update I find webmin-setup.out and usermin-setup.out in my root folder. Is there an option where I can specify where to put these files?

Hi,

I have VPS linux setup with virtualmin/webmin installed. Works all great. Only thing is that all requests to outside (for example external API`s or feeds) are really slow.

Is this something within webmin / configuration or should I look in total different direction.

I've been trying to get KeepAlive working. The following is set in my httpd.conf. . .

KeepAlive On MaxKeepAliveRequests 100 KeepAliveTimeout 15

But it's not working, keep alive is being sent as 'close' or no keep alive header sent at all. If I try adding the following to a virtual host. . .

Header set Connection keep-alive

That makes the website send a keep alive header, but it is appended with 'close' immediately afterwards i.e. both keep-alive and close are being sent together.

This is fresh install of Centos 7. Please help!
