File manager for Webmin

Webmin is superb web panel, however for me it always lacked one feature: file manager. Webmin has built in file manager that is really good in design and user friendly, however it is written in Java and so is slow and requires additional software on the user side to run. Googling around did not give any results and I decided to write my own file manager with black jack and ... oh whatever :) Meet the Filemin - lightweight file manager for webmin, written completely in perl.

Authentic is Webmin/Usermin theme based on Bootstrap and Font Awesome that you just longed to get.

Hi - I've just upgraded Webmin to 1.560, and I find the startup action that's been successfully starting Webmin at boot time has gone away. What's more, I can't get it back.

When I visit "Bootup and Shutdown" I select Webmin and press the "Start on Boot" button, which takes me to a message saying "Enabling service webmin at boot time". However when I go back to the Bootup and Shutdown list, Webmin is still not enabled at startup (marked "No" in the column marked "Start at Boot?").

Hello I am getting errror: address resolver failure error in my webmin when i am trying to send the mal from my mac Osx 10.14.6. I have installed virtualmin 6.08 GPL on my server. I have done everything in my knowledge to resolve this error. but its not getting resolved. I you want to look a my main.cf file then have a lookL:

Postfix/main.cf:

smtpd_helo_required = yes

smtpd_pw_server_security_options = cram-md5,digest-md5 content_filter = smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024 receive_override_options = no_address_mappings

Hi all,

I have some problems in two servers with installed virtualmin in CentOS.

Servers specifications :

  • CentOS Linux : 7.7.1908
  • Webmin version : 1.932
  • Virtualmin version : 6.08
  • Usermin version : 1.780
  • Kernel and CPU : Linux 4.19-ovh-xxxx-std-ipv6-64 on x86_64

Server 1 : Error of FirewallD => Failed to list zones : FirewallD is not running

Server 2 : Error of FirewallD => Failed to list zones : Error: INVALID_ZONE

Do you have some ideas where is this origin of error?

Webmin 1.900 not upgrading

Hello all,

My webmin was upgrading normally until version 1.900. I don't receive any more notifications to upgrade Webmin. My setup: Operating system Ubuntu Linux 16.04.3 Webmin version 1.900
Usermin version 1.751 Virtualmin version 6.06-2
Authentic theme version 19.39-2 Kernel and CPU Linux 4.4.0-169-generic on x86_64 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz, 4 cores

I have the same setup on other pc (clone on digital ocean) where webmin upgraded to version 1.932.

Help Logging in Via HTTP

Server was working fine the other day and now for some reason I cannot use the username and password to login via the website address and port 10000

I can login via SSH using both my username that was working and also root into SSH but none of these logins work for web control panel

I found a link the other day that allowed me to rest the root password and it worked however once again im locked out can still login via SSH but not via the URL

The title sums it up. The virtual server was deleted, but the references to the deleted site's SSL cert were not removed from /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf. It continued to work fine until I needed to restart Dove for an unrelated reason, then barfed on the errant entries.

I don't need support on this because the problem was obvious and easy to fix (delete the errant entries). It's just a bug report.

Which Webmin version is the stable release?

I'm trying to write a module and I noticed a difference in the files available online.

In webmin.com, downloads still in 1930, while official Virtualmin repo installs 1932 (same with github). Authentic-theme is also not bundled in github, haven't checked other modules yet. Also it has a lot of recent commits in the master branch.
