Hello, I'm trying to download a file from an external FTP server . It's a small .jpg file, but I've problem while trying to connect to the server.

If I use the full link I get from Filezilla: ftp://username@server.com/image.jpg I receive this error: Download failed : Failed to lookup IP address for username@server.com

I am currently working on getting a server with CentOS 5.11 through PCI certification.

I get : TLS Protocol Session Renegotiation Security Vulnerability

I have been trying to get this to work, I can login through SSH with the active directory credentials, I can sudo with those same credentials. But I can't login to webmin with the same credentials, I have tried everything under webmin's unix authentication options, I have tried many variations of the pam settings for webmin.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

When I try to login I just get "invalid user login from ".

This is on CentOS 6 using winbind/kerberos.

I plan to disable root log in (duh! should have done this a long time ago)

I've also been logging into my control panel with the root log in. How do I assign full VirtualMin and WebMin privileges to a different user?

I couldn't find this in the docs and searched for "disable root login" and did not find anything.

I am using Fail2Ban. It is working as expected for SSH port blocking all failed attempts. Fail2Ban also adds a rule in IPTables, dropping all requests from that IP.

I can see the blocked IPs related to Chain fail2ban-ssh using iptables -L command, but visiting Webmin in Networking - Linux Firewall there are no records for banned IPs in Chain fail2ban. As you can see from the attachment in fail2ban-ssh section there is only Exit Chain Always. Normally it should show all banned IP addresses.

Please, I have several files and moodle directories on my server.

I'm trying to upgrade the files ... to do it, just unzip the files in the main directory of Moodle, but webmin file manager lets not overwrite directories.

I've tried to solve the problem using the root, but even so, the problem keeps popping up: you can not overwrite:

I've changed the permissions, but still remains the error.

I used about a half year ago Webmin in my tests. One of the best GUI for server administration. I remember i could clone my Webmin users. I deleted anonymous then I selected root and click Clone link. A new Webmin user was created based on root user account.

Today I installed again Webmin and I went into Webmin -> Webmin Users. There are two users there, root and anonymous. But only Delete Selected. No Clone button. See attachment.

How can I get back the Clone button?

I have setup a while ago two steps authentification in Virtualmin with Google app on my cellphone. It was working fine till now as I was able to login with my usual login/pass + code generated by app on phone ! Now today I can no more login, it refuses all the time my code.

What can be the reason of such issue ?
