Webmin

hello guys,

i have an old BSD server hosting some domains and running webmin-1.150. I am thinking of shifting it to new CentOs or Debian server running virutual/webmin 3.50 . Is there a way to shift my domains from this old setup to the new one ... or i will have to find some way to do it manuaully domain by domain

Could somebody help me to configure NFS using Webmin so that I only a specified user in the network is allowed to access certain directory? I have to do this using Webmin not something else.

I am using Fedora 6 operating system.

I've been asked a couple of times for this feature. Basically to have all emails to and from an account bcc'd to a separate address.

I know that virtualmin currently supports forwarding received mail to a list of addresses, but I'd also like to be able to forward mail sent by the user.

I have a number of DNS master records I'd like to add an extra slave server for. I've copied the named.conf records for my other slave server, but now I need to add a new NS record for the new slave.

It seems that it would be easiest to add using the mass_change script, but it appears to be undocumented. What I tried:

Lately adding cluster slaves has quit working giving me the following when I try to add a cluster slave:

""Failed to add server : Could not work out this system's IP address. You should set the Default master server IP for remote slave zones on the Module Config page.""

I cant even uninstall webmin

this is an error I get

something about lock and another process using it ?

I am using webmin with virtualmin and usermin for a while now on Debian 4.0. All is well except I want to give my users access to AWStats. The problem is that none of the webmin users I create with virtualmin or directly using webmin users module is able to login. They can login to usermin to check email. I can use the "switch user" to get into their account. I tried changing passwords. I checked if every option in Virtualmin related to the webmin account creation is active. I have been searching and trying stuff for hours but unfortunately all users I create fail to login to webmin.

hi i need to create a folder that is basically a mounted harddrive

i tried to do this but it still seems to be on the active harddrive

its mounted and the folder shows but it seems to be still using the original harddrive space

Webmin->Hardware->SMART Drive Status reports 'Status of drive /dev/sda' and 'Status of drive /dev/sdb' but these are just partitions across my RAID controller. And it is stating that the drive type is 'AMCC 9650SE-4LP DISK' (my 3Ware controller) and that it doesn't support SMART. So I get no stats. If I query smartd directly I can see all four physical drives: smartctl --all --device=3ware,0 /dev/twa0 smartctl --all --device=3ware,1 /dev/twa0 smartctl --all --device=3ware,2 /dev/twa0 smartctl --all --device=3ware,3 /dev/twa0
