Help! (Home for newbies)

Hey all! When I log into the admin account over the whole server and I select a domain on the left X.com, one of the top options is Edit Databases.

Now when the VirtualHost user logs in to administer his domain, there is no Edit Databases option.

What option have I missed to allow the administrator for any virtual domain to be able to create their own databases? Ive checked System Settings->Server Templates->Custom->MySql Database and I don't see anything that needs to be enabled there.

Here is the specifics that I am looking to create:

When I check Dovecot IMAP/POP3 Server and I go into Mail Files, I see this as my setting: Mail file location = Inbox and folders in ~/Maildir But then after trying to send some emails, I look at my /home/domain/ directory and there's both a /mail and a /maildir directory.

Why the disparity in the option selected compared to actual funcionality (this was the default selection when I installed virtualmin gpl via install.sh) and how to fix?

I've been trying to figure out how to show a folder in an index listing that is protected...because mine always disappear. So let's say I have a folder protected with a user and password, but I still want the folder to appear listed with others so people know it still exists and can ask me for the user/pass to gain access. It's probably something really simple but I can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated!

does virtualmin support creating reseller accounts? do you have any demo for pro version? thank you

I have installed Virtualmin 3.703.gpl module in my Webmin 1.480 panel of my Ubuntu 9.04 HyperVM VPS . Now I have added 1 domain named web2dziner.com using Virtualmin virtual hosts. The problem is when I type http://web2dziner.com (wrong Apache default page ) and http://www.web2dziner.com (the desired page) , it goes to two different webpages. I haven't done any modifications as such directly to the Apache. How to fix it ?

How can I look at all virtual servers at once seeing each one's disk usage?

I'm trying to pinpoint what domain is using large amounts of disk space, but I have 100+ so I'm hoping there's a fast way.

I would like to add plugins to change user password in Roundcube or squirrelmail webmail. I hv been using the basic features and now i wish to add the function to change webmail user password via the roundcube or squirreimail wihtout involving the usermin interface.

Can you guide me how to go about installing this plugins and making it work. Thanks and regards,

In regards to virtualmin, im a newb, but with linux, im a moderately(5 out of 10) knowledgeable user

Now, i know that to some extent that this is a postfix question, but the reason i ask here is because i dont know what this means

.. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.

i got the following message after i installed virtualmin you must deactivate bind or add the following address 127.0.0.1 so virtualmin can be reached on the web my question is when using CentoOS 5,which files affected when adding 127.0.0.1 address and when deactivate bind,so i can activate it or deactivate it manually or remotly. thank you
