Help! (Home for newbies)

I've imported a virtual server yesterday, and all seems well except for one thing. The cron jobs related to the domain are/were all there in webmin, and at least one of them doesn't work:

the cronjob is to open a dynamic page, read it and save it as an (static) .html page (overwriting the old one). In this case, it does this once an hour. The cron job is run by user 'root' and is active.

I'm getting consistent update failures within VM. I've tried searching for the answer but as yet not conclusive. Can anyone help? Thanks

Installing package(s) with command yum -y install ust-virtual-server-theme .. Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running. Aborting. Loading "installonlyn" plugin .. install failed!

I just created a new virtual server, but could not get it to work correctly, restarted the server, but Apache did not start. I looked at the httpd.conf to look at the new server and noticed some differences between the new server and all the others. The new virtual server had the following in it:

ProxyPass /dav/ !
ProxyPassReverse /dav/ !
<Proxy *>
allow from all
</Proxy>

I deleted these directives, saved httpd.conf and restarted apache. All seems to be running.

I have two problems with my GPL version:

1) I have set scheduled backup of mysql files (Every day at 4:00):
Servers to save: All virtual servers
Features to backup: Contents of server's MySQL databases
Backup destination: Local file or directory ( /home/backup/mysql )
Backup format: One file per server

Everything seems ok to me, but I get a mail every day:

A new format backup can only be done when the home directory is included

I've read through documentation and maybe I am blind or something, but is there any way how to really setup custom commands to be visible for domain owner?

I got some scripts which I want to users acces through virtualmin administration and now they can only do that by going long way to custom commands in webmin itself.

I'm really new to administrating a server: got a VPS recently and now am setting up my sites with Webmin and Virtualmin.

So, I cannot get POP3 to work. I'm not even sure what programs exactly are needed. I have Sendmail Mail Server running, also Fetchmail Mail Retrieval. I sent a test e-mail to one of my e-mail addresses on the new server, and I see it has arrived successfully and I can read it in "Read User Mail". But I cannot read it with my Outlook. :(

i've got a few websites on my server, and today, apache reacts so slow most pages time out. Not on the webmin/virtuamin apache, but the webserver one. 'top' shows no strange things and normally, if apache is (a bit) slow, restarting it, or, in bad cases restarting the machine solves the problem, but not now.

My question: what are logical steps (with virtualmin and webmin or over ssh) in trying to find the cause?

How to fix it up so that the user instead of the box owner can include add on scripts such as Coppermine, phpNuke, and the others that are available for choosing? Any thoughts?

Hi. When I get a message that spamassassin identifies as spam, the subject (and headers) are not changed at all even though the option is set spamassassin's config file. An excerpt from my /var/log/maillog:

Is there a way to change existing usernames without deleting full mailboxes.

There is problem because I cannot make POP and SMTP to work on Outlook. SMTP keep reporting wrong user name even if I change it to user.domain. POP3 is working, mail can be downloaded but sending doesn't work. After I changed back all Server templates to show user.domain, adding new user creates user.domain login and reading/sending works.

How to "recover" already created users that have user@domain IMAP/FTP login into user.domain?
