Webmin

hi there

i recently changed the hostname of the system. everything runs fine, mail sending and receiving works but mail forwards.

for example:

userA has his mail forwarded to userB (both on the same domain), both have regular mail accounts (no alias, just forward copy)

if i send mail to userA, the mail is properly transfered to the inbox but not forwarded to userB, instead i receive as a sender:

I am getting hourly updates that a domain is going down, every hour.

Looking at the apache error logs, I see this:

- - [19/Dec/2011:17:00:32 +0000] "HEAD / HTTP/1.0" 200 - "-" "Webmin"

the domain runs a Joomla 1.7 site.

Has anyone seen this before?

can anyone point me to an example of how to configure the linux firewall in webmin to allow spamd to run??

I usually have 30-40 dovecot processes but sometimes there are like 120-150

and memory consumption grows, however there certainly cannot be that many active logins

some of them never end

I guess it is something firewall related.

The situation: I have an old server that is acting wonky, so I want to setup a new server on a different ip address, transfer all the info over from the old server, take it off the network, then change the IP address of the new server to match the old server.

I used Virtual min to move the virtual hosts to the new computer, everything went ok.

Disconnected the old server and set the new server to same IP address. Now I can't access web pages from outside the network, but pages browsed locally work right.

I have fedora 15

IT will not boot to a desktop instead has the following error.

Started SYSU: Daemon for quickly looking up Virtualmin Servers from procmail. Started LSB: Start or Stop the Webmin server.

This appears to be a shell screen. I can hit alt f3 or f2 and go to a new shell window.

Hi all,

I have installed and configure Webmin and Virtualmin successfully.

I have two sites and I am trying to make the redirect of http://example.com to www.example.com

The funny think is that when I use Firefox the redirect is ok. When I use Internet Explorer or Chrome the redirect is not working.

I have never seen it before but when I try to access Webmin/Servers the left menu changes to AUTOMATICALLY FIND SERVERS and under that - a form that apparently is used to register Webmin servers. I have no idea what it means other than I have lost control of Webmin. Please help Mr. Wizard! What could have made this Webmin server go ape?

had a bizzare error warning come up real fast and then the system went off line. Haven't got it back up yet.

It was

line 81 in the funtions-lib I believe,

It happened so fast that I didn't get a good look at it. Since I was working remotely I have to wait until I get there to see if I can get it back up.

At the time the error came up I was doing nothing other than watching logging files of emails which I had set to 10 seconds.
