I've been tasked with upgrading Apache 2.2.25 because of PCI compliance issues. I tried but only managed to break Apache.
Does anyone know if it's even possible to upgrade to Apache 2.2.25 under this server config? Or do we need to upgrade to CentOS 6x to achieve this?
Trying to test it over the weekend, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Arie
Hi
There are a few threads on Varnish e.g. http://www.virtualmin.com/node/20448 but they mainly relate to how to set up Varnish rather than the particular and hopefully last issue I have with Varnish & Webmin/Virtualmin.
Once I get it sorted I'm happy to write up the basic steps, but at the moment I have a stumbling block with what I am assuming is related to defaults on Webmin, but I can't find a solution, hence posting here to see if someone can give me some pointers.

and in the folders I've put this .htaccess file (with persmission as the site user and 775)
RemoveHandler .htm .html AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .htm .htm AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .htm AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .htm .html AddHandler x-httpd-php .html .htm
It doesn't work. I get the htm files server by apache without php.

Is webmin (and Virtualmin) compatible with Apache webserver 2.4.6?
Hi
I've installed Web/Virtualmin from the GPL installer onto my VPS running OpenVZ and centos-5.8-x86 and I'm not having much luck enabling quotas.
I have added a new system logs to send *.info ; mail.none ; authpriv.none to the remote syslog server but it looks like logsys is not getting anything from webmin server. All was setup based on that wiki: doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/SystemLogs
Any clue what can be wrong? Syslog server is receiving logs from other devices/servers on port 514
Thanks
I have a User in Webmin/System/Users and Groups which I was using to Login to Webmin/Virtualmin on mydomain.com:10000. That user had Master Admin access on Virtualmin. I verified the user is still a Sudo user. I verified with a terminal login and WinSCP login that the password is accurate. However I can no longer login to mydomain.com:10000 using that user. I checked Webmin/Webmin/Webmin Users and the user is not listed there which is probably the problem.
First off, I LOVE webmin/virtualmin, been using it only a week, but I'm hooked. Amazing work!
Only issue has stumped me is postgresql, I have disabled it from startup, no virtual servers are using it. (No virtual servers using the feature PostgreSQL database were found.)
I took it out of the monitor, yet it as soon as I stop it, it starts itself back up again.
I am not sure what else I can do... looking for how to find out where it is starting and how to stop it...
