Webmin

Hi,

My user's procmailrc files are not executed when incoming mail arrive.
e.g. /home/user/homes/user.name/.procmailrc

This seems to be caused by the following two last lines in /etc/procmailrc:


:0
$DEFAULT


If I remove them, everything works fine.
However, from time to time, these lines re-appear for whatever reason.

I can not find the appropriate function in webmin or virtualmin that enables user's procmailrc files permanently (and get rid off these lines in the global procmail config).

I disregarded the first time this happened, but this is the 2nd time this happens and I decided to report it. Webmin uses up all the available RAM, seemingly out of nowhere. The last time anyone logged or made changes to webmin was days ago. Below is the output of "ps -e -orss=,args= | sort -b -k1,1n | tail -n 20" at the time free RAM goes below 600mb (on a 16gb system that usually runs at 40% of RAM capacity)

The first time it happened was on august 10th, and I usually run pretty tight updates, so on that date I was most likely running the most current version available.

I've installed ipset and generated a hash of certain counties IP's. How do I add following rule using the Networking > Linux Firewall module?

iptables -A INPUT -m set –-set geoblock src -j DROP

Looking at the guidance here: http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/email/dependent it says that Postfix 2.7 is needed. I have an up to date WM and VM install, but it has 2.6.6 installed.

What should I do?

At the moment the mysql system variables are:

Your Backup gets written with the keyword TYPE

unfortunately this got removed in MySQL 5.1 and now you would need to use ENGINE. Therfore no MySQL Backup can be imported from another virtualmin DB Server

The keyword TYPE is removed since MySQL 5.1, use

) ENGINE = MYISAM AUTO_INCREMENT =58; instead.

Hello Folks!

I have a big DNS master server which constantly changes and forces us to sit and add/modify/remove slave zone configuration manually, and the slaves are many.

The slaves have never had webmin/virtualmin installed on them.

If I remove all old zone configuration on the slaves and install webmin/virtualmin on them, can the master (which has webmin installed) server then PUSH the zone configuration automatically to the slaves so all comes synchronized and keeps being so ?

I just did a update to my freebsd 8.1 including moving to perl 5.16

My webmin will no longer start i get the following error message
