Webmin

I have just done a new install of Virtualmin and it all seemed ok till I tried to upload a file. I hit the upload button and nothing happens there is no pop up for browsing for the file to upload. It works fine in all my other Virtualmin servers. Any ideas?

My bad I forgot about the pop-up blocker on the browser.

I have two linode nodes with virtualmin/webmin installed. I tried moving over complete sites from one to the other.

I am using the export/import functionality built into webmin/virtualmin but it seems it's not transferring over the folder permissions.

Anyone had similar issues?

This web server is running in SSL mode. Try the URL https://uedgkhcj:10000/ instead.

i tried to install Webmin from .deb file, but it failed, because some additional packages was not foud so i did sudo apt-get install -f and it finished installation.

I want to ask why im receiving SSL warnign when entering:

httpS://myvpsip:10000/

I get a cron job mail stating

Failed to run /usr/share/webmin/security-updates/update.pl : No such file or directory at /etc/webmin/security-updates/update.pl line 12.

The message is right: the file is missing; the question is: is the cron job wrong or what made this happen?

I don't have any content in /var/www/html that I ever want to serve.

Hi, the Update from 1.6.4 to 1.6.6 broke my softwareinstallation of my SQLedger clone.

I cannot create pdf Documents anymore. It is claiming, that he is missing Fonts and he is also claiming, that the letterhead pdf would have the wrong pdf Version. The documentengine is running on texlive.

Everything was in working condition under Webmin 1.6.4; since i upgraded to 1.6.6 these Errors Keep coming up.

Any Chance to roll back to 1.6.4 in order to get my SQLedger clone working again?

I have been running virtualmin for sometime now. Thank you for the free version.

I renewed my SSL cert. Then i went to webmin configuration and updated the cert and got a message that it was updated properly. Furthermore I checked the cert and key files mentioned in the miniserv.conf and see that the files contain the proper values.

However even though I can start the webmin server with ssl=1 option I cannot connect via the brewer. I just get "could not open page". However if I turn ssl=0 in the conf file then I am able to connect using HTTP.

We have try to change the webmin listening port in miniserv.conf file and since then webmin/virtualmin show web page code instead of the login page as if perl is not interpreting the page anymore. We tried to revert the change maid in the page but it doesn't fix the issue. Can anyone help?

I have not been able to /stop or restart Apache on one of my VPS.

When I reboot the server, Apache is running and all my sites are online. When I try to restart the daemon through a terminal though, this is what I get (consistently):
