Webmin

Hi

I got a problem trying to link 2 Webmin servers (under Webmin servers index) running the same version.

I'm getting this error: Login to RPC server as root rejected. I'm using the correct username and password - works fine if I'm connecting manually. CP1 -> trying to connect to NS1: Login to RPC server as root rejected

But if I reverse

NS1 -> trying to connect to CP1 then no problem.

I have no firewall on NS1 currently, so that's not the problem. You guys have any idea about what could be the problem?

I just installed a new server that does not send any login notifications as usual. I was wondering where the administrator email address was configured or how it was guessed by the system, but did not find it.

When installing Webmin it is necessary to start Mailman as the final configuration step. (?)

Is there any problem caused by disabling Mailman?

I'm trying to mastering the Postfix-settings. I thought i had everything correct from the CLI to send only mail. But when i open the settings-page in Webmin, there are some domainnames @ "What domains to receive mail for".

Can someone help me to configure Postfix only to send mail

I have created a webmin user using option from Webmin -> Webmin Users -> Create a new Webmin user. After creating that user I was able to log in to the Virtualmin but when I try to reach the system using SSH I'm not able.

Any clue what I have missed?

I have a couple of websites on a VPS. I use virtualmin / webmin as adminpanel. Since a couple of days, the sites are getting a white screen. Or, one Magento shop does not show images.

I checked logs and the images problem and found out that there was a memory allocation issue. The server has 2gb ram memory and it never gets above 1,5gb usage. Most of the time it stays under the 1GB.

I have remote VPS server and since I have limited space there, I want to schedule a File System Backup to my backup server with SSH connection. But my backup server is using different port for SSH. I tried putting backup.server:port in SSH host name, just like I did in Virtualmin Scheduled Backups, but its not supported. I'm currently using this command to create a backup:

After upgrading to centOS 6.6 to 6.7 I started getting this alert from Anacron:

The login screen in my server http://ip:10000 is not working/opening.

I tried using different browsers and ISP, but nothing worked.

Although, SSH is working fine. The websites hosted on the VPS (CentOS) are also working normal.

Can someone let me know how to verify that Webmin is running? Can you provide me the steps?

Also, my VPS providers hasn't blocked port 10000. I checked with them. Will have to see if any firewall blocked the same. How to check that?
