Help! (Home for newbies)

Is there no way to change the user's real name through webmin/virtualmin/usermin? I have a bunch of imported sites and the real name for all of the site admins is "Migrated cpanel account". But the field doesn't seem editable through any of the admins.

could adjusting my router which disconnects from the net and thus from all computers hooked up to it for 8 seconds. Because a message was sent that says a certain domain has gone down. When I went to the domain(right after getting the message I found it up and working fine.

I am trying to get Virtualmin installed on a CentOS 3 server. The installation fails with the following message:

......Unable to satisfy dependencies Package virtualmin-base needs wbt-virtual-server, this is not available. Installation failed: 1

Looking through the the list of packages on http://software.virtualmin.com/universal/ there is no package by that name. There is a wbm-virtual-server, and a wbt-virtual-server-theme though.

Any ideas?

What I want is for my suse 10 server to work like my last host. Basically you had a cgi-bin or you could name it whatever you liked, and you put a cgi file in it and it worked.

Everytime I put a cgi file in the /home/domain/cgi-bin directory, it never works, usually it says cant read or or I dont have permission to access it.

When a new virtual server is created there is NO cgi-bin directory in the /home/domain/public_html/ directory, I really think somethings screwy with this on suse 10.0.

Hello all, I install virtualmin on CentOS 4.2 and have no problem with it. However, when I create a virtual server, I have problem. First I did not change anything at the default form. I only enter test01.com as my new site and hit CREATE SERVER button. it point ot page: http://{myIP}:10000/virtual-server/domain_setup.cgi and shows "The page cannot be displayed". I hit refresh and receive the message: "Failed to create virtual server : Missing or invalid domain name"

Did I miss anything?

You had said in the previous thread you would try to wrap up a package for doveccot on RHEL, any progress? I was able to go back to imapd for the time being (with lots of problems) but I would really like to get this going....

Is webmin installed by virtualmin, or must webmin be installed and configured manually before virtualmin is installed

The only way i can see to add a subdomain is to create a new server. Is this correct? Does each sub-domain take a license of virtualmin? Is there a way users can edit / add / delete there own subdomains?

I am trying to setup SMTP auth with Sendmail MTA, are there any tutorials about how to do this so that i can relay through the server if i have been authenticated?

What have I made wrong, when the virutal host mailserver don´t work? I have made a virtual host mreimers.se, and the mail server are mail.mreimers.se, but i recive a error in my mailklient program (Outlook) that say me that, this mailserver don´t exist. We couldn't pick up any mail.
