Using virtualmin on a single IP address server (say IP=1.2.3.4), I have a probleme when I try to batch domain creation with create-domain.pl :

Adding new DNS zone .. .. done

OS: CentOS 4.4 Webmin: webmin-1.350-1 Virtualmin: 3.42

I created a test domain as root using Virtualmin inside Webmin. If I try login to Webmin as the user for that domain it doesn't work, what gives?

I'm running Virtualmin(GPL) and Webmin 1.35 on FreeBSD 6.0 with Apache22 and am baffled by an issue I cannot resolve. When I select the Webmin Apache server module, the virtual servers I've defined (using Virtualmin) are not displayed even though I've specified the path for the virtual hosts as /usr/etc/local/apache22/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf. I've confirmed Virtualmin does correctly append the new virtual host to this file, but it appears Webmin is not parsing it to determine virtual host definitions.

How can I setup single SSL cert for webmin with multiple virtual servers? Do I have to do some redirections? How come there are no directions for this important thing? Some best practices? Is it impossible? I know SSL certs are tied to IP and domain but is there a workaround to redirect https://domain.com:10000 to https://webmin.machine.com:10000? Or do I just have to teach users not to use their own domains when connecting to webmin.

I have the following virtuozzo configuration: 8000 CPU Cycles, 384 MB RAM + 128 MB FlexRAM, 10 GB HD

and running CentOS Linux 4.4, Webmin 1.350, Virtualmin 3.42

The problem I have is that after a few minutes of using virtualmin/webmin the web-interface (port 10000) is dead.

When I look at the system resources of virtuozzo I see that I have a black X and that my privvmpages are very high. what I guess is that the memory consumption gets to high and that the system cuts of the memory and that virtualmin can't handle this and dies (it's understandable).

When I try to create a new domain using Virtualmin I get this error

Failed to create virtual server : setquota: Quota file not found or has wrong format. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.

Yet when I check quotas from Webmin it goes thru without errors etc..I can also see the users and their quotas.

I am using Virtualmin 3.41 and here is a copy of fstab

i have created new virtual server(new domain) on my server, and i have a domain requests for DNS1 and DNS2 how can i determine dns1 and dns2? or am i to create it?

I want to create a virtual server but the domain name is a subdomain of an existing virtual server. for example, I have example.com configured on the server and I want the new one to be xxx.example.com with ftp/mysql's username as xxx.

Can I do this in Virtualmin GPL?

is there anyway to reset admin as the main login, i seem to have configured admin as a domain login. i cant seem to log in as the main webmin administrator anymore, anyone please help.

How can I prevent virtual server admin changing DNS options without disabling BIND. I mean I want virtualmin to create zone and host files but I don't want virtual server admin to be able to change these options.

Probably just some simple config but I can't find it in the Owner Limits.
