Help! (Home for newbies)

Just installed VMPro on fresh Ubuntu 6.06.x LTS, no problems overall. A few initial ponderances:

1. Seems the installer makes use of /tmp to work from. Shortly after the install I was seeing a bunch of permission denied errors & realized I had set my /tmp partition to not allow exec. Easy fix & I restarted the install, no problems. Is this something that will affect any updates going through if I change it back to noexec?

The Subject above, is the responce from DNSReport.com when a test is performed on any of my domains. All my mail servers(primary and virtual) are working, send and rec'v ok. But... I (for the life of me) cannot get a clean test at DNSReport.com. I get the feeling it is something simple to fix or change, but I am not finding it.

I'm having a having a mysterious issue with subdomains. Whenever I add a new one, it just shows the site that it is a subdomain of.

for example, I add images.example.com. Instead of the files for the images.example.com, I see example.com instead.

Help?

Getting this error when trying to get into the newest Virtualmin. I just upgraded my webmin and virtualmin yesterday.

<i>The status of your system is being checked to ensure that all enabled features are available, that the mail server is properly configured, and that quotas are active ..

BIND DNS server is installed. Mail server Sendmail is installed and configured.

The Apache module mod_actions is either not installed or not enabled.

.. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.[/i>

Has anyone ever attempted installing on a server with vhcs2 installed on it already? I've got a server running 17 websites on vhcs2.4 and I'd like to move them all over to Virtualmin Pro soon as possible, with minimal downtime.

Any advice appreciated...

There are about 150 of these, 6902 USER 30052 kB /usr/bin/php-cgi Some of these(and others) are 1-2 days old.

Our box runs 2xIntel P4 (2,8 Ghz) and 1Gb ram, Fedora Core 6 and Virtualmin Pro, all software are latest versions.

I would like to use sft.

SSH login is working an also the user can start sftp-server.

When I try to login with my sftp client, I always get "permission denied".

Where could the problem be?

Operating system CentOS Linux 4.4 Webmin version 1.341 Virtualmin version 3.39

I have tried now for days to get this going, I get a Recipient address rejected: message which we are getting here.

I have tried all possible combinations and can not find the cause,

hello i've 6 ip's. i have eth0 with the main ip and 5 vlans. like eth0 and eth0.1 - eth0.5. my apache is atm only listen on the main ip and only on port 80. i've added the ranges xx.xx.xx.x1 - xx.xx.xx.x5 (for example) in the template for new virtual servers. i've added these ips to the shared ip section too. ... the same problem. if i try to add a new server and i check create ssl website too and i check Virtual with allocated IP i become everytime this error: Failed to create virtual server : Could not allocate virtual IP address from range.
