How can I setup single SSL cert for webmin with multiple virtual servers? Do I have to do some redirections? How come there are no directions for this important thing? Some best practices? Is it impossible? I know SSL certs are tied to IP and domain but is there a workaround to redirect https://domain.com:10000 to https://webmin.machine.com:10000? Or do I just have to teach users not to use their own domains when connecting to webmin.
Is anyone using some webmin.domain.com -> webmin.machine.com:1000 redirections for this purpose?
I've thought about this, as well, and I believe we probably should automatically add a redirect rule, like we do for mailman, that points users to the right place for administration without having to understand ports (I have the hardest time getting new users to at :10000 to the name...they always seem to want to do /10000, :1000, or some variant thereof).
So, what's a URL that isn't going to step on others but will be easy to remember? /virtualmin seems the obvious choice. Is that one crazy due to being difficult for folks to spell? Maybe /vmin? /admin is too commonly used for other applications, I think. We'll make it changeable of course, but a sensible default that most folks like would make it easier to write documentation and demonstration videos that actually work for end users.
