Hi

On this forum you are using BBcodes to allow us to Bold and italic our posts. How can I find out if I have this capability on my server ? I have VirtualMin Pro.

I believe that BBcodes makes use of an extension package found at http://pecl.php.net/package/bbcode.

Can someone pls give advice on how I can check if I have this and if not how I would install it. I read somewhere that it might require PEAR - but I don't know anything about that.

I've noticed some odd behaviour with mail delivery after i used webmins 'read mail' server to delete all mails from a users mailbox.

My setup: Fedora Core 9 Webmin Virtualmin Postfix Dovecot

I use Virtualmin to add new users to a virtual host, which creates two entries in users and groups (e.g. tj@example.com and tj-example.com). This will also setup the users e-mail address.

I have a Fedora 7 setup on my station using Webmin 1.430. I would like to check my bandwidth usage for a particular application. I can easily reboot and run only that app. I thought if I used webmin's bandwidth monitoring I'd get a reasonable first cut at usage but when I try to check this figure I get the following message:

"Neither of the System Logs modules are installed on this system and supported by your OS. The Bandwidth Monitoring module cannot operate without one of them."

I don't know what the modules are or how to install them. Suggestions?

Hi i activated the backup fuction for users. Now i will test it. Backup is ok, is passed. But when I will wirte back the file, its called backup its stored in "useraccount/virtualmin-backup", the sytem sys me he can't find it. I saw the system calls a cgi script: "https//ServerIP:100000/virtual-server/restore_form.cgi". But ther is no script?

How can I restor backups in the userer account?

Hello, couldnt find this info anywhere.. How can i totally disable virus scan in virtualmin gpl ?

I got to serevr - spam and virus settings, but if i take down the clamav scanner, i see a notice that its still in use by virtualmin and shouldnt be taken down ...

How to do it correctly?

I did a restore to the entire server, but after that one of our websites didn't work, we were getting 500 internal errors.

I tried installing php4(i remembered the old server had it). The error went away, but now were are left with a blank screen.

I can't find any hints in the error lots, any suggestions.

FYI, This site is driven of a database.

It's frustrating that a restore doesn't restore everything as it was.

Hi, when I write back my backup the system stops an sys me: Backup does not contain virtual server information for missing domain etc/logrotate.d/wpa.

What means that an d what can I do?

Hi is there an option thats Users cann Backup and restore threre Accounts? But in The userbackup interface the should only see her own backupfile?

And where can I find the virtualmin-backup directory?

Quotas on filesystem and bandwidth can be set. Is there a solution how i can set the maximum cpu usage or memory for users?

How can i determine which user out of 200 (for example) is causing high load of cpu, memory or disk usage on the server? (GPL version)
