virtual server access through /~username?
I've got virtualmin up and running thanks to the help of the Virtualmin staff lurking around the forums, so thanks for that.
Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.

In the default webmail program (https://site:20000) 2 users with 2 different login are pointing the same messages !!
If I check their Maildir the 2 account are working fine, but the webmail doesnt work...
Any advices ??!?!

Hallo together!
I want all spam mails from all users in my domain to be delivered to a seperate mailbox called spam@domain.org in the folder spam. So i go to Virtualmin - Server Configuration - spam and virus delivery Destination for spam mails i set to: Write to other file: /home/wachauer/homes/spam/Maildir/.INBOX.Spam/new That doesn`t works.
Log from the procmail.loc:
procmail: Error while writing to "/home/wachauer/homes/spam/Maildir/.INBOX.Spam/new"
If someone have any idea, plwease help me!
I've installed the module successfully by building a custom apache with mod_perl2. That part works fine.
The problem is very strange, if a Webpage is more than 150 lines, the page cuts off right where the Google Analytics code gets inserted.
See Example: http://www.tonysoffthird.com/test.html
It works great on my Ubuntu servers, but this company insists on using Max OS X.
Fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, using the virtualmin install script, install goes ok, but I get this when logging in to virtualmin:
The Suexec command on your system is configured to only run scripts under /var/www, but the Virtualmin base directory is /home. CGI and PHP scripts run as domain owners will not be executed. .. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.I've read other posts similar to this, but not exact for this OS and the install type, license type.
What is the best way to fix?
Thanks,
Eric
When I login to virtualmin the start screen informs me: 9 updates to Virtualmin packages are available.
But when I click "Install All Updates Now" or "Use the Virtualmin Package Updates module to install them selectively" I get stuck in "read ..." (my IP) at the bottom of the browser, or get stuck in Now updating proftpd .. forever.
Hi there folks,
Firstly, pardon the newbie if this has been covered; I've parsed through the docs and tried to find what I'm looking for in the forums, but I thought somebody might know the answer more quickly than I can dig it up.
I'm looking at integrating VirtualMin with my billing system (developed in-house) so that my clients can alter their account settings from within my system, which may or may not be located on the server their websites are being hosted on.
hmmmm. I'm lost again, I could have sworn I saw the place to add the list of files Apache should parse for server side includes in the VirtualMin GUI... I want shtml and html both to be parsed... I can edit httpd.conf directly of course, but I would like to learn my way around VirtualMin if I can find it in the GUI.
thanks
Heya, all. Just finishing the migration to Virtualmin Pro. I'm pretty pleased so far, but I have encountered a "gotcha". None of my .rhtml sites are working. Instead, I'm getting the dreaded file-download from my browser.
Obviously Apache is not realizing it is supposed to put the index.rhtml through the /cgi-bin/ruby.cgi
I just checked and the config file for domain was missing the "AddType application/x-httpd-ruby .rhtml" to permit .rhtml. As well, you'll have to add it to the DirectoryIndex (index.rhtml) because its not there by default.
I just migrated (backup / restore) from RHEL 4 to Centos 5.2 and old hardware to new hardware at the same time.
While both http://panlogicsoftware.com and http://www.panlogicsoftware.com both work. However, if I put in my blog url of http://www.panlogicsoftware.com/wordpress/ then it just brings me to http://panlogicsoftware.com
