Great program. I am enjoying it a lot. I have one question. I searched around and did not find an answer yet.

How does someone go about changing https:default:10000 to https//whatever:10000 for virtualmin and usermin(20000)?

I can't find any settings in the platform besides changing the ports it listen's to.

Hi, I can't seem to find anything on this...

I'm trying to setup an EC2 Pro image and I'm at a lost. I've fired up the virtualmin web ui and am trying to create a new virtual server, but it asks me to create a default mailman list first.

So I try to create one and it returns with an error:

Illegal list name: mailman@domU-00-00-00-00-00-00

(I edited the domU part)

hi, im running virtualmin under Debian etch which has been great its just now cant figure out why the servers ive created are just listing as http://domain.com rather than with the www.

is there an option somewhere or some way to tell it to make www the default ??

I want to run this package on my server. One of the requirements is "A web server with PATH_INFO support". Is it possible to turn on globalality this function for the entire server, or I need to do it for each virtual server, if for each server, how can I automate that was added when I'm create a new virtual server. I have Virtualmin GPL

Hi, I tried using awstats using webmin installer. But somehow... it wont work. It doesnt create the awstats config file... can you guess where I am going wrong??

I have the primary domain (eg, test.com) and in it, on the basis of the subdomain, I would like to create a site to my friends who have access (Usermin, own home directory, etc.). If I create a subdomain, I can't give them home directory (which would have access to it,and only for it), its own database etc, if I create top-level domain, dns entries migrates to another file (eg friend.test.com) but should, for the proper working to the basic file test.com. Do you have any ideas?

Is there a solution if i want to avoid that users get unlimited space on their mysql databases? Home Directories are having quotas, but mysql db's r not saved in those directories.

Any hints?

Some bad user guy might have 10 MB quota for home, but filling up the whole disk by putting loads of junk in his database!?!

I tried to install virtualmin on FreeBSD 7.1-RC2

First, i installed webmin 1.441 from the portstree. This is working fine. After that, i tried to install virtualmin from the ports. That also seemed to work fine but when i look into webmin, there is no trace of virtualmin.
