Help! (Home for newbies)

I don't even know if this is "legal" or doable but I have to ask.

On a single IP we have www.hinduismtoday.com and we are developing a new version of the site for rollout in a month or two in a subserver "dev.hinduismtoday.com" which lives in /home/htoday/domains/dev.himalayanacadmy.com/[etc] with a complete framework there (public_html etc...)

Now our developers want to set up their e-commerce in advance but the subserver doesn't have it's own certificate...

hi is there an option to activate pop before smtp login handling? I search in the web for reasons with the Dovecot IMAP/POP3 Server. But all what i found was a handling with peral scripsts. Is there a faster way in virtualmin to activate this?

I'm trying to setup mod_wsgi for use with Django and Python 2.6. I've installed python 2.6 using makealt install. Now I need to setup mod_wsgi. But how do I do that with Virtualmin? Where is Virtualmin's apache build tools?

i was going though setting trying to sort out a prroftp issue, and i decided to change the max failed attempts to 3, and to add 6 failed attempts as a lock. then hit the restart button. after appx. 30-45 seconds- hit the refresh button on firefox. nothing. i was also SShed into machine- so i ran top- nothing strange- but vi running at 99%- let it go for well over a minute- still no change- either in top, or with trying to access via firefox.

I'm very new at all this. have a simple question.

I want to know the difference between the "paid" versions of VIRTUALMIN and the FREE, OPEN-SOURCE version.

I can't seem to find the differences summarized anywhere.

Here is what I did:

I deleted an email user (coz I think Squirrelmail changed some settings).

Then want to create the same user again. And I get:

[code:1]Failed to save mailbox : Home directory /home/domain/homes/admin already exists[/code:1]

I think the problem is, that Virtualmin did, or does not delete the /home/domain/homes/user/ directory, coz after deleting it manually new creation was no problem.

Maybe stupid question comming from not reading enought documentation, but - does Virtualmin notify administrator or anywho about licence expiration - I am not sure, but I think that it is more than year now when we bought virtualmin and I want to continue using this awsome software. So how do I find out when my licence will expire?

Sorry gang but I am shooting in the dark on this one and need help. Our previous sysadmin installed usermin/webmin/virtualmin about 4 years ago to a hosting server. Fortunately I pulled down a site backup about 3 months ago or so and I am happy I did! We lost the entire drive setup in this old Gentoo server. I have rebuilt a temporary machine using Suse10.1SP1 and again all looks good. The original backup was done under an older version but for the most part it looks like the newer one can read things successfully.

I have installed webmin and usermin on my FreeBSD7.1 server with no problems. I tried installing virtualmin (via ports and through webmin) and I can't tell if it is installed or not.

When I run the installs I do not get any error messages but I can't see anything inside of webmin or usermin to indicate that virtualmin GPL is installed and working.

Help?
