do you guys know where the emails get stored when they are on server? like which dir?

i'm using Ubuntu 8.04

Hi all. I recently installed Virtualmin Pro for someone. After a day, this message started coming up:

Your serial number is licenced for only 1 servers, but is being used on 5.

Its only installed on one server. I searched for a fix, but didn't find anything. Also, "licensed" is spelled wrong. Your search engine even corrects it.

I pressed Reset Firewall, there were no rules... then pressed "Block all except ports used for virtual hosting, on interface": selected the interface eth0 and "Setup firewall" .. now I see a list of rules.. ok... then press "Apply configuration" and this is the output: Failed to apply configuration :

iptables-restore v1.3.6: invalid port/service 25,587' specified Error occurred at line: 63 Tryiptables-restore -h' or 'iptables-restore --help' for more information.

Hi, is there a way to update Webmin to the latest version? I have version 3.56gpl and would like to update my version to a more recent one so that I can get multiple SSL sites on a single IP address.

I don't see any kind of update button, and my searching of this site did not turn up any directions on how to update your version without wiping out your settings through a reinstall. (Sorry if my searching abilities are severely stunted here...)

Is there a way to enable it just for PHP?

ok im running ubuntu 8.04 and virtualmin pro with latest updates on everything. it was installed on fresh os install using the install string on my perchase page. but no matter what i seem to do i cant get mail in or out and when i try to setup outlook express i always get error trying to check mail.

My server acts a little strange, if I reboot it, Postfix takes very long to start. Also lots of strange emailadresses show in the mailq. Then after a while devocot shuts down. I have a feeling the server gets used by spammers.

1. How can I find out, if the server is abused?
2. What information do you need / logs?
3. If someone uses the mail server, what can I do to stop them getting access?

Any help is appreciated.

When the quota of my email is over, I can't access to the webmail panel to delete some emails and go under quota... any advice ?

I have started hosting a friends site as well as their email. They are receiving mail through their client (Outlook express) but they can not send. When sending they are getting the following error:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.mydomain.com', Server: 'mail.mydomain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have tried using authentication in the mail client (outlook ) but this did not help.

My virtualmin is using the Postfix mail server.

I just wonder, my auto-whitelist has a few 1000 entries with obvious SPAM addresses and adds 20 per hour more. Can the auto-whitelist be completely switched off, or set to be completely manual?
