Virtualmin Package Updates looking at wrong repo
I saw a couple of packages I wanted to install which failed. It appears that it is looking at my ART repo rather than where it is supposed to. The error message is as follow:
Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.

Hi All,
I have installed an Apache module called WebDNA. It creates directories as follows:
/var/www/html/WebCatalog /var/www/cgi-bin/WebCatalogEngine/
Both directories are apache user and group.
The config file is /var/www/cgi-bin/WebCatalogEngine/webdna.conf
In Webmin/Servers/Apache Webserver/Global Configuration/ I can edit thedirectives of webdna.conf:
LoadModule webcatalog2_module /var/www/cgi-bin//WebCatalogEngine/mod_WebDNA_apache2.2.so
Hello,
We have been using cPanel. now we want to use Virtualmin. we have a server that has 5 IP addresses. What we want to do is to have 5 websites along with innumerable subdomains. i have seen from your forums that Virtualmin ppl dont like subdomains.
we dont have any particular preference to it either however we want to use an SSL cert on example.com and also on crm.example.com and payroll.example.com.
If i use a subserver in the way it is described in these forums i will lose 3 IP addresses in creating the above SSL sites.
I Understand most of the following default zone records, but what is the purpose of the record for m.mydomain.com and admin.mydomain.com? Are these used by virtualmin for something?

how do i add webmail / SquirrelMail for

Hi guys,
I'm aware of limitation described here - http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id,freebsd_installation_and_conf.... However I've recompiled the world and kernel as described in adduser(8). Now, in the system I'm able to create users with username up to 128 characters:
[code:1]
I've spent numerous hours trying to figure this but coming up blank. Fresh install(have done it twice now same results) of Ubuntu 8.04 server only choosing openssh during install, then use the install.sh script and all goes well. Everything seems to be fine except whichever domain I try and view website I get the following: You don't have permission to access / on this server.
I see that the instructions for the virtualmin module say that it should not be installed if webmin is already installed or a domain is already set-up and that it should be installed only on a clean OS install.
It is unfortunate that I was not aware of virtualmin when I installed webmin a few weeks ago.
Has anyone had experience with a dirty install of virtualmin? Is it really THAT problematic to install it with webmin and a domain already installed/set-up?
Hello:
I use an IMAP client to sent/receive the email.
I can receive email, the problem is when I try to send emails using my email client (thinderbird)
When I choose PLAIN authentication method
I received this error:
Your SMTP server does not support PLAIN. Choose a different authentication method.
When I choose Login authentication method
I received this error:
Authentication failed. Most likely the password is wrong. The server responded: "5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: generic failure"
If an email is stuck in the postfix queue, say it's not deliverable for a legitimate reason, how can I setup an email notice sent back to the original sender that the email was not sent for whatever reason.
