Hi

When i go to a newly created domain my main domain shows up.

I understand this is most probably due to there being a mismatch between the NameVirtualHost and VirtualHost sections of your Apache configuration.

Is there a way for sub-servers/aliases to create their DNS records in the parent domains zone instead of creating a new zone if the parent zone already exists?

I know there is an option to do this if you're using sub-domains, but as the help says enabling sub-domains is strongly discouraged and it sounds like the feature will be removed all together at some point down the road so I don't want to turn that on.

I'm using Virtualmin GPL for my website, but I use google apps to host my email, calendar, etc. I like to use the custom URLs for google apps to make it easier to reach the various apps.

I enabled DNS in Virtualmin for one of my sites and it created the proper zone and records for the current site and its sub-servers, but when I log in as the server-owner I do not see any option to add additional CNAME records or change the MX records. The only option I have is "DNS Options" which lets me adjust the SPF records but nothing else.

Tried searching for this but no luck.

Automated emails have the domain name appended twice.

admin@server.domain.com.domain.com

Where can I fix this? I've tried changing the hostname to just the machine name but then it shows up as admin@server

I was keep getting about email

i saw posting from joe but some thing i am not very clear how to fix

i am getting error when i try to add admin user

for admin@domain.com

Undefined subroutine & postfix::rebuild_map_cmd called at /usr/libexec/webmin/postfix/aliases

i love the fact virtualmin professional never gave me any problem but this is some thing i need to fix asap

I am seeing this frequently in my log. I have seen the bug report from 2006 but I assume that this particular issue has been fixed since then. Nonetheless, it's still cropping up.
