i was wondering for my hosting company i would like to do as the pros do and have a preloaded set of files shown upill list below

in home/username/public_html/ index.html which would say something like this site is hosted by hostname (note this file is only there so that they can see their site is up and running ofcause they would delete it their self)

also i would like to know if there is a way to suspend a user and so on like brinkster and gator do if they are doing something naughty?

i just set up virtualmin the install script its great in like a little kid playing with a new toy!

i was wondering how will my customers of my hosting company get the the control panels!

also how would i go about getting into the FTP as well

Im a newbie to servers. somehow i managed to install Virtualmin.(thanks to everybody)

My problem is when i try to create a subdomain i get a error """Error
Failed to create virtual server : Virtual FTP cannot be enabled unless a virtual IP address is allocated"

then I searched the internet and some told me to uncheck the "proftpd server" box in the "Features and Plugins"

I am having trouble getting apache with mod_ssl running.

Here's what I am doing (Version 3.64):

System Settings -> Features and Plugins

I tick the "SSL website" Box and then press Save and I get the following error:

Failed to save enabled features : The Apache configuration on your system does not appear to be listening on port 443, which is needed to host SSL websites. If you do not plan to host SSL sites, this feature should be disabled in Virtualmin's module configuration page.

I have a problem sending emails using postfix..

Webmin version 1.450 Virtualmin version 3.66 Pro

I did the Re-Check Config

so that's good..

I tried sending an email by going to the postfix mail server and use

user mailboxes.. not working..

I did a server test using http://www.mxtoolbox.com/

but I get this.. Reverse DNS FAILED! This is a problem.

Hello. I have a problem with network settings. Exactly I mean that sometimes I have to wait long to get a connection to my server. Sometimes not read the page, does not want to connect with ssh and ftp.

The computer has the internal IP address, and forwarded the ports. There is no fault of network devices. I tried to go ahead and use Debian and CentOS, but it is the same. Now, the server stands on Debian 5.0.

Please help. Sorry for my poor English.
