I've read several topics about my issue but... no solutions...

and this is:

I've just made a virtual server. Everything works very good: website, webmail, Client on Outlook for incoming messages... everything. The only one thing who doesn't work is the Client on Outlook for outgoing messages... They stay in the "post exit" folder on Outlook.

So I've checked everything about the ports and the 25 is open as smtp so... what doesn't work?

I've made a change in the mysql config, modifying the sort buffer size, as i had a message about it being to small. Problem is, the mysql server does not want to restart after that ! How can i comme back to default value ? I suppose there is a config file for that, but i didn't find it (my.ini form example)...

Can someone help me, i'm stuck bad !

I have stopped my PostFix mail server (with DoveCot pop3) a while ago because someone was able to send spams with it.

I tried a few 'mail relay' testing and it worked. Mail relay is disabled according to those tests.

Now I am trying to figure out how he was doing it.

I see a lot of failed 'pop3' login attempts which is probably 'normal' for any mail server?

I am also getting tons of these in my PostFix mail queue and wonder what they are:

Im new to linux and virtualmin, so please bear with me.

So heres my issue, I have setup virtualmin to work with my domain name, and everything is working perfectly. I can check emails going to that domain through usermin, and they get delivered just fine. I didn't have a problem until I added another virtual server. The domain seems to work fine (the actual webpage), but when I try to send an email to the newly created server, I get this message:

On my server, I've been holding off on upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04 but yesterday a new video capture card forced my hand. So I upgraded to 14.04 from 12.04, and since then my php pages just spit out the source. I've been searching for a solution for 14+ hours and I'm hoping this is not so complicated as it appears. Nothing appears in any log file that I can find, and I've tried a simple web page called test.php which is nothing more than:

And this is the exact page source when viewed in a browser :-(

I like, and use delightfully Virtualmin.

But, I am having a lot of trouble because restore-domain is not becoming well.

CentOS 6.4 / wenmins 1.701 / virtualmins 4.10 / named services are not using.

I am doing remote backup by sceduled backup.

If they try restore in backup server, there was no problem in former days, and small size backup file is getting a fine restore nowadays.

If backup file size to do becomes about 4 ~ 5 GB, the restore process failed.

You use your 12-digit account ID to reference your account programmatically and in other contexts.

I know that centos 7 is not supported yet but decided to install virtualmin on a test vps I have. Everything is functioning and installation went without any problems. It is much faster (apache,php,etc) and mariadb works much better than mysql so far. Decided to install DKIM via yum/virtualmin but get the following error:

Logging into a freshly installed VPS (KVM) and after installing Virtualmin I noticed the IP address that appears next to the host name is not the dedicated IP address of the server but 127.0.0.1.

System Information > System | System hostname vps.example.com (127.0.0.1)

I have a new installation of webmin/virtualmin 4.08 and am configuring a basic website with email accounts.

The site is up and running.

Created an email only account.

In Outlook 2007 have the following standard settings:

Account Type: POP3 Incoming mail server: domainname.tld Outgoing mail server (SMTP): domainname.tld

User Name: name.domainname Password: ********

Outgoing Server (TAB) [checked] My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication (selected) Use same settings as my incoming mail server
