I'm trying to run my drupal 6 sites but I have discovered they need php3 and I have PHP_VERSION 5.5.19
I can see virtualmin allows multiple versions of php on different virtual servers, but I can't find repos forr php3. Does anyone know if they are available?
i have a very mysterious spamming issue going on that i am clueless what to do about. i have my sendmail automatically set to BCC everything that comes off my server so i can monitor all outgoing email.

If I switch the php to FCGId then instead of running the php script, my browser offers to download the php code as it is. The site runs correctly in Apache mod_php execution mode, but I understand that is not as secure.
I checked the apache log to see if I could learn anything. However, there are no errors generated.

this is a newbie forum and this is a dumb question so here goes:
i dont use virtualmin for anything to do with email, so the only two i ever seem to use are "DNS Domains Enabled?" and "Apache website enabled?".
for that matter, i dont use our server for any incoming email at all.
Hello guys, I'm having a problem with my mailing service. I can send emails from server, but it I can't receive them from external address. For example, I can send email to hotmail, gmail, etc. accounts but when I try to reply on them there is no message in my mailbox.

I usually installs websites in the webroot (document root) directory public_html, most of them CMS's like WordPress, Drupal, Spip, etc ... I'm working on a new one based on Symfony which I also installed in public_html, but it is required that only the "public_html/web" subdirectory has to be reachable from the web (or accessible by Apache). I more or less know how to achieve this when declaring a webhost "by hand" in the appropiate files, but I was wondering what was the best way to do this with Virtualmin ?

I have about eight /usr/sbin/httpd processes running. each will start up multiple /usr/bin/php-cgi processes. (note that i am using "CGI wrapper" not fast-cgi)
what is the best way to limit the number of /usr/bin/php-cgi processes that can start up?

I am attempting to run my own DNS servers for my domain 'domain.com'. So I've set glue records in my registrar for 'ns1.domain.com' and 'ns2.domain.com'.
So on the server corresponding to ns1.domain.com, I installed Virtualmin. On ns2.domain.com, I installed Webmin and BIND.
Thereafter, I followed the instructions on http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/dns/slave-configuration and managed to set-up ns2.domain.com as a slave successfully.

I have virtualmin setup with two websites currently on one IP. I will be adding a second IP which I want to use exclusively for a third website. My question is regarding nameservers.
Currently, I have the first two domains with their nameservers set as: ns1.domain1.net ns2.domain1.net (where domain1.net is the main domain of the server)
And I have set ns1.domain1.net and ns2.domain1.net set to my first IP address at the domain registrar.

I am testing a cloud server (Centos 6.6) I want to to use to host different virtual domains.
I've installed Virtualmin 4.12.gpl and I created my first Virtual Server.
The problem is: how my new virtaul server will be visible on the internet?
Should I configure my personal DNS?
Is there a detailed guide ("for dummies" :-) ) that covers the complete creation of a virtual server?
