I appear to be only able to send emails to the username@hostname.domain.com on my server, instead of also to the added virtual @domain.com email addresses.

In email settings I have "additional email addresses" defined as:

I have a little question/problem

I was running virtualmin and now i installed cloudmin on this machine.

Everythong looks working fine (domains, sub-domains...) in root machine but if make new virtual machine:

example: i have a domain in root: name.eu i can connet to it ping and make nslookup

i make new kvm with internet hostname: ub.name.eu it gets nternal ip 192.168.0.4

but i cannot ping that cause it shows local adress and nslookup shows to 192.168.0.4

Trying to make a copy of a client's current website, put it on another server and use it as a development bed.

Seem to get one thing fixed and then something else goes wrong at the moment.

Basically when I create a new virtual server, and the BIND zone's get created, it seems to add an extra name server entry, which is wrong. In the zone file it will look like the following

@    IN  NS  ns1.domain.net.
@     IN     NS    ns2.domain.net..
@   IN  NS  ns2.domain.net.

Notice the one with the double dots? This causes BIND to fail. And i cannot for the life of me find out where it is pulling this extra name server from?

VNC has been configured on this system by Cloudmin, but the VNC server on port 5901 on host system ns1 is not accessible. If it was just enabled, the system will need to be rebooted before VNC is available.

What is wrong?

Long story short, i messed up repos when i was super sleepy. I am not sure why i did but i executed rpm --rebuilddb command and yum started to fail. After lots of trying things, i deleted yum.repos.d and executed yum clean all and now there is no repo recorded.

When i try to add repo, getting this error:

I apologize for casting my shadow in the forum so soon after my last issue, but this is one that I have no idea how to fix.

I get mail every day from the Cron Daemon.

So, I'm running a few wordpress sites on my Virtualmin server, and it has been compromised.

I have spent hours upon hours with everything, and I've been able to limit it, but it keeps coming back.

I have rkhunter in, nothing odd, and I've been tracking the logs like crazy, but all I can see is where it's coming from, but then I can't track it down.

I have been a command-line based linux sysadmin for 17 years, and am having some growing pains switching over to virtualmin: likely they are just me being resistant to change...

I installed a first site on my server, but it turns out it's not only accessible via it's own domain name, but also via the domain name and ip address of the server.. How can I disable this behavior?
