Help! (Home for newbies)

I have question regards to sub-directory. scenario is lets say I have example.com I wants to have different sites to run under example.com/uk | example.com/au ..etc. ( I don't wants to use sub domains because sub sites SEO won't inherited to main domain. )

I know when you create server for example.com file location would be /home/wordpress/public_html. so main site code files would be at /home/wordpress/public_html/* then when I create sub site it be like /home/wordpress/public_html/uk/* or /home/wordpress/public_html/au/*

1) Is it possible to have ?

Update: Must have been some DNS caching something or other, as the problem resolved itself later in the day

I have changed the Default Server Template here:

System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default -> Apache Website -> Create alias websites by -> "Creating permanent Redirect virtual host"

Hi, have anyone got Vtiger working on Virtualmin. Everytime I install It seems like the install screen times out and when I log into Vtiger some modules are not working.

Current system: Ubuntu 14.04 Server Virtualmin 4.14 GPL (Used script to install) PHP Version: 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.6

Maybe I have configured something incorrectly in Virtualmin or my database.

In restoring a failed server I set up Ubuntu server 14.02 and set a master admin password for a user to have appropriate privileges. After setting up some sites and doing restores I was asked to change the admin password. I did this using ssh to a user prompt then sudo passwd "user" I can now log in using ssh as that user but virtualmin's login dialogue won't accept the login. I've already had one 24 hour holiday by failing login three times. Logging in using vm as a site owner works ok as does ssh.

Suggestions?

A while ago I was working on a guide and script to automate installing and securing servers on Centos6. Since Centos6 does not cut it anymore for me and Centos7 is not supported, I want to help people who still use Centos6 or want to have a simple guide how to secure their server.

Hint: I use several e-mail addresses in my production. Depending of the content of the automated e-mails I send them to a monitoring mailbox, alarm mailbox, or other. This way, I'm always up-to-date with my systems through mail.

The basic anti-spam of Virtualmin is good, but sometimes spam still gets through. I would like to improve the spamchecking with Razor and Pyzor.

Does anybody have any experience with these 2 filters?

does anybody have some tips/tutorials how to install them easily into a webmin installation?

As I'm setting up my new server, I need to migrate all my 'clients'. Doing this might invoke loss of mail, due to the DNS changes, where the user is already on the new server, but some mail is still being sent to the old one. I'd like to do an rsync the day after the move to sync the remaining files. I did this for one user already, but it does not seem to have the desired effect.

I set up a new Virtualmin installation on a virtual machine. I gave this virtual machine 6 network interfaces, supplied with each one IP. The machine runs Debian 7.8 and has only the basic IPtables set up at the moment (allow some ports and allow for all I think). The hostname of the machine is hm1.domainx1.com. I set up a virtual server for domainx1.com and set the IP to the IP linked with eth4. When I ping from eth4 to google, I get a response.

The domain domainx1.com is at this moment still live in a different server.

Can I set Virtualmin to create new, separate mySQL user and password for every new subServer. At the moment there is an option which create new password but it sees it's replce the password for the main admin account.

I tried to install a couple of Virtualmin updates tonight and got the foloowing:
