Use SpamAssassin to block emails based on Subject

Hi All

I realise this is a newbie question, but I cant seem to find a straight answer for it.

I am getting spam, in this case under the subject "Advanced Debt Recovery"

Each email is coming from a different address, so I cant use my usual method of blocking addresses or names

Is there a setting to block titles of emails in spam assassin, or some code I can run if its not available in the webmin settings?

Kind Regards

Alex Nicol

Attack or default Virtualmin processes

Hey,

I've set up a new server that will replace my old one. The new server runs the latest version of Virtualmin on top of Debian 7.8. I run CFS & LFD as firewall. I have already set-up 3 virtual servers as a test. They work fine.

Every hour (or more) I receive a lot of e-mails from CFS & LFD with warnings similar to:

Restore failed : The specified source is not a Virtualmin backup : Not a valid tar or tar.gz file

I'm trying to restore a domain from a .tar file. I can open the file just fine with the archive manager and it has the appropriate folsder and files structure I'd expect to see from Virtualmin backups, but I get the error in the subject line. Is there an option to force the restore? or perhaps unpack first then restore?

Upgrade from PHP 5.3.3 to php 5.3.7 or 5.4 in Debian Server

Hello im new to the forum.

I want to run a upgrade from PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze19 with Suhosin-Patch (cli) to a newer version, php 5.3.7 or php 5.4 so that typo3 will work without php warnings.

The server is running Debian Linux version 6.0.10 and i don´t find good threads for this, I just see guides for CentOs.

I want to upgrade without running into issues with Virtualmin "Webmin version 1.730"

This what i read with " nano /etc/apt/sources.list "

admin id stepped on during restore

I recently set up a new server using Ubuntu 14.04 and installed Virtualmin GPL.

I made myself the admin user during installation.

I restored a site and found that I could no longer log in to virtualmin as thge admin user. I think this is because I had made myself an admin user in the restored domain in order to perform some site maintenance in the past. I speculate that when restoring the site my master admin privileges were nuked and I now have no master login available.

Is hostname domain useable?

Hi

I have a Virtualmin/Ubuntu server up and running with hostname: server.mydomain.co.uk and nameserver: ns1.mydomain.co.uk & ns2.mydomain.co.uk

mydomain.co.uk does not appear as a virtual server nor can I add it. Is it necessarily a sacrificial domain or am I able to use it for a website, mailing lists etc? If so how?

Thanks for any advice.

Geoff
