Help! (Home for newbies)

Hi all, I m newbie to virtualmin, I faced a difficulty and I hope anyone can help me, thanks a lot!

Here is my situation: 1) I have a server which is Centos 5 and installed virtualmin. 2) I have applied a domain "abc.com" from a domain provider, however, this domain provider has no DNS record management, so I can only add nameserver to this domain to point the domain to my server.

I have tried to do some research, I found this reference: https://www.virtualmin.com/node/22091

I wish to set up a practice server at home. I am able to access the server through the assigned freedns address, but when I try and access a virtual server, I get a "Cannot display" page. When I ping said server, I get the internal IP address of the server.

Hello all, I'm new to the forums. Long time user of PCs and PHP programming, running servers etc, but new to VirutalMin/Webmin (GPL).

My statement/comment/question is, I don't like the way VirutalMin sets up the folder structure for virtual servers. I've read a bunch on this topic, people complaining about the differences between cPanel and VritualMin, but I don't believe my question is covered by those topics (nor do I care for cPanel).

When I think of "sever," I think of the server as I built it. So I get confused when Virtualmin tells me I have to add a server - I mean what did I install Virtualmin /to/ if not a server?

I have a server that has crashed but can still access it via a rescue disk setup and am able to mount the drives but I do not have a webmin/virtualmin back up of the setup to use.

I am installing webmin/virtualmin on a new server and can copy all files from the dead server but would like to know if it is possible to re-create the setup from the old files?

UPDATE: Yeah well..- I'm a idiot. I created two servers, one ending on .dk and another one on .net - and I edited the wrong one. Only took me 8 hours or so to discover. However, I would still like to know if Apply Change affects all the servers or only the one selected from the dropdown.

hello everybody, i have webmin and virtualmin installed on Centos 6, i have sendmail installed and running, i can receive emails from everywhere but i can't send emails, everytime i send email it says it was successfully sent but i don't get the mail, i followed what was written here http://doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/Sendmail_Basic_Configuration

I wanted full monthly backups, and it used to do them. The last few months it hasn't gone well, and in the "backup log" I see this as only error:

In the incremental backups I get the same error.

(Strange thing is that line 33 in that file is an empty line...)

What's the best way to solve this?
