Help! (Home for newbies)

Hello All,

I am new here, and I am considering Webmin/Virtualmin for my VPS. I have previously managed VPS with Ajenti & VespaCP. I don't hate Ajenti or Vespa, but I didn't love them ether. So now, with my new VPS setup I am looking for something better, so I have come to check out the big guys :)

My VPS provider changed the IP address and all my services are now unavailable I can only access the server via their ajax consol how do I get virtualmin and the websites up again?

I have the following problem: PostFix keeps asking for username and password

This is what I did:

I have a freshly installed VPS with CentOS 7.1

I installed perl on it (yum install perl) and then I installed Virtualmin GPL with the install.sh script (so very first thing I did). I configured virtualmin to use hashed passwords instead of plain-text.

Then I made a backup of my virtual servers with the Virtualmin console of all my configured domains on my old server and imported them on my new server. All successful!

2. and the most dangerous problem, I have the same problem and the same problem in sitesinde my friend and I looked at a few other places. Hold down the F5 key as the CPU is doing almost the ceiling and closing sites. How do I solve this problem? olurmusunuz helpful?

system: webmin: centos 6.6, php 5.6.9 , varnish, memcacded + wordpress, w3 total cache.

I have installed webmin/Virtualmin few days back on centos 6, But I am unable to send mail to Hotmail, GMX etc and Email goes in SPAM folder for GMail, Yahoo etc. I figured out I have problem with my Reverse DNS and for the same purpose I asked my ISP to add DNS Record at his server as I read post regarding Reverse DNS

I have an error in the DNS records every time I add a virtual server and it must be coming from my template but I haven't found it yet.

I'm sure it is something very simple but I haven't been able to find it.

Whenever I create a new virtual server BIND fails to restart and then after I delete the bad DNS record it starts just fine.

The DNS record looks like this:

Record Name Type Value ns1.[servername].com ns2.[servername].com [new virtual server name].com. IN AAAA [IP6 address]

I am brand new to running my own server. I have it up and running but am having DNS issues. I have my server names ns1.filz.hosting and ns2.filz.hosting. The domain I have set up on Virtualmin is sagematrixx.com. I have checked out intoDNS and it looks OK, but I am missing something.

I really enjoy using virtualmin and it is exactly what I need for my server.

I am having one problem, though. When I load my site, the "Index of /" page appears. I have uploaded wordpress and there is no files shown. Once in every 50 refreshes, the page I want actually loads.

I have migrated some sites from CentOS6.02, Apache 2.2 with a dedicated machine... to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with default distro comes with Apache 2.4.7 (Linode servers), some sites on their own IP before moved to a shared IP on the same linode (small sites with very little content or CPU requirements I ganged together on the same cloud server/shared IP)

Back up the sites in VirtualMin.... SCP over to the new box, restore; tweak some database settings and mostly things are working well.

I am a little new to Virtualmin and i really like this piece of software...well done made, my compliments!

I have a, a ratter simple, question, i guess, but i don't know how to handle it.

I have a domain (shop) running with a database and that runs really smooth. Now i want to make more domains (shops) which uses the database of the first domain (for stock issues), but the original domain name must not been seen in the browser.
