Webmin

If I want to use a blocklist, like Spamhaus, what do I need to do? Is there an extra module that needs installing or is it something within an existing configuration file?

I'm using Postfix and Webmin/ Virtualmin GPL.

I've got a question about Webmin and the sql module in temrs of database backups.
I'm gonna assume that the backup module will not backup actual Mysql users that have /need db access rights and passwords, right?
I've got a sanario, only but wanted to see what suggestions you folks have to insure this can be done.
Suppose you have 5 or more databases.
You run the backup module, generating sql files of those databases.
You download the backups off-site somewhere.

Currently webmin (Apache I think), is redirecting "www.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com", I want to do the opposite ...

I have my domain purchased on Gandi.net, DNS Zone are managed there, and I'm hosting my blog on an other platform, with Virtualmin/Webmin. I have disabled BIND DNS Server in Virtualmin.

Do you know what do I have to change, and where, in order to reverse the redirection ? In webmin settings or in Apache virtual host directive ?

What is the procedure for "installing" a webmin module under development?

I am working on a new module and want to be able to test development. Do I need to tar up the basic module, install it, and work from there?

I'd really like to run my webmin module right over its git repo so that changes are visible "real-time." Is this possible?

I've been using Webmin/Virtualmin on a Debian 6 install for a few months now and all has been good (gpl version). The version I installed of Webmin was 1.580 and then Virtualmin 3.32gpl.

In order to avoid having a server get flagged for sending spam, I'm trying to change the from email field of Webmin notifications, i.e. backups not working, so that it's from a FQDN that actually points to the host. I've done everything necessary in the MTA configuration (Postfix), yet the domain name of notification emails is still the non-FQDN name of the host as it was set in /etc/hosts during the installation of the OS (Ubuntu Server).

I have enabled disk quotas on my root file system and successfully checked it using repquota / command. However, when Virtualmin's configuration is being re-checked it always states "Disk quotas have been disabled in the module configuration." and there is no menu item "Check Disk Quotas" in the "Limits and Validation" menu of Virtualmin even though the webmin module "Disk Quotas" is installed and seems to be enabled as it says:
/ (users) Reiser Filesystem /dev/vzfs User and Group Quotas Active Disable Quotas
/ (groups)

What is the best way to get a backup of your webmin in case of a migration to another server/webmin/cpanel etc.?

I migrated my site from cpanel to webmin before and all i need was a regular full backup of cpanel. So is there a similar feature in webmin, if so where?

At about the same time each day for the past week or so the cron deamon has been sending an email to my administrator account.

Not much to go on.

Has anyone else had this? Any idea what the cause is? Or how to fix it?

I have had a look in the logs but don’t see anything suspicious.

I saw the feature to migrate from other servers but did not see a selection for migrating from one Virtualmin server two another. Just wondering if this is a planned feature?
