SMTP Error SSL ".com.com"

Forums:

Hello,

I have setup an e-mail server on my box but when I try to connect by using an E-mail client (Thunderbird). I get an issue with SMTP saying:

"Server Certification Expired

"example.com.com" is a site that uses a security certificate to encrypted data during transmission, but its certificate expired on 8/16/2008 8:55 PM.

..."

Note: My site is example.com not "example.com.com".

How can I fix this issue?

Thanks,

Chris

Tuning PHP with mod_fcgid (with screenshot)

Forums:

I am wondering why fastcgi isn't using more memory... My machine has 12gb of ram and two 3mhz dual core processors, with CentOS5.2 & Virtualmin Pro.

To tune I used the Apache Benchmark (AB) and the top command to watch what could be tuned. The AB tests were done on on a page that has several hundred mysql queries, another words no static files. The parameters I used for all tests were: ab -c20 -n1000 url

The first test results, with no tuning averaged out a measly 4.4 requests per second.

System and Server Status - monitors

Forums:

Hi,

I'm using Webmin that is coming together with Joyent's accelerators. I used to setup monitors to check my services.

In the Webmin version 1.380 I could find them under Webmin->Others->System and Server Status, however with the newer machines we've got Webmin 1.410 and it's not there anymore. I looked through all tabs and can't find it.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks !

Best, Andrzej

GD perl module installation problem in Webmin

Forums:

Trying to install GD as a perl module in Webmin and there is a problem.

Here is the message:

Compiling module Executing /usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL && make ..

Notice: Type perl Makefile.PL -h for command-line option summary.

UNRECOVERABLE ERROR Could not find gdlib-config in the search path. Please install libgd 2.0.28 or higher. If you want to try to compile anyway, please rerun this script with the option --ignore_missing_gd.

Installation of GD failed. Check the output above and try installing manually.

SMART Monitor & SMART Drive Status

Forums:

I need to use the monitor but it do'nt work on my hardware/system. To get my smart status the command is:
smartctl -a -d 3ware,0 /dev/twe0 (for the first hdd in the raid) smartctl -a -d 3ware,1 /dev/twe0 (for the second hdd in the raid) and not /dev/sda (the default in webmin). So, can you modify the SMART Monitor and the SMART Drive Status Module Config, to specify directly the full path of each device we want. And if I am in the error, correct me ;).

My system: Webmin 1.441 VirtualMin 3.64gpl Ubuntu 8.10 x64 (Linux 2.6.24.5-grsec-xxxx-grs-ipv4-64 on x86_64)
