Webmin

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has played around with the usage of the built in XML-RPC feature within Webmin?

If so, I'm trying to develop a PHP frontend, and would like some assistance working with this.

There seems to be a limited amount of documentation on the topic, so I seem to get lost easily working with it.

What I'd like if possible is a list of commands which can be passed to the "xmlrpc.cgi" script and perhaps the parameters which accompany these.

I'm still newbie using webmin, i want to ask about create webmin user.

here the scenario :

i already created Group using Root webmin password then right now i want to created new webmin user that can control Group that Recently i created using ROOT user.

So when i already created new webmin user, let say the Group: lctsp.com, i want this user can only control this group only. can created user and group,controling Sendmail, Controling Apache under lctsp.com Group.

So is it possible for webmin to do this ?

Got the error below when updating virtualmin/webmin... Anybody else seen this? I always keep the system up to date and never had any errors before...

So, using Virtualmin PRO, I go to webmin, webmin configuration, and, no upgrade webmin module.

How do I get it back?

I presume it is supposed to be there on centos?

I see no errors in the install log.

I've got the Webmin mobile theme installed, tried to use it from my my mobile device (Motorola Q9h, Windows Mobile 6.1), I get the following message:

Error The remote server refuses to perform the request. This address is not available.

https://mobile.mydomain.com:10000/

I'm able to access that URL from a computer, so I know that it's working. I'm able to access other SSL sites from the mobile device, so I know that's working as well.

If I change webmins port from 10000 to say 31000 (example), will the rpc ports stay at 10001-10010 or will they increment to 31001-31010?

SORBS has just started blocking all IP's that have port 10000 open claiming its backdoor which is entirely false and malicious.

I just checked 3 servers that were being blocked and that is the reason from SORBS.

Anyone that is having issues needs to contact SORBS like I did and bitch them out for blocking without due cause. LIKELY does not mean it is.....

I've setup an OpenLDAP server and can ldapadd, ldapmodify all day long.

But when I try to use Webmin to add a user from scratch or by cloning them and changing attribute values, I get

Missing or invalid value for DN

How can I make Webmin like my LDAP?

To add users, I click on the Server menu and then the LDAP Server submenu. There, I see Browse Database where I can add/modify.
