When installing these options on to a virtual server I get the message

This script cannot be installed, as this virtual server does not meet its requirements : phpMyAdmin requires the Apache mod_php4 module

The version of PHP installed is 5.1.4 - has this got something to do with it?

Is there a way round this?

I've been tryng now for a couple of days to get Postfix working. The starts OK and all apears to be well and emails gererated by virtualmin get through. It's simply not listening to the internet. I have tried telnetting on port 25 and it refuses connection.

Things I have tried. I have manually changed the myhostname setup in the Webmin Server settings and changed it back again. I have also used the 'alternative' command, detailed in another post but to no avail. Looking at main.cf things like mydomain=sampledomain.tld are commented out.

We have Virtualmin 3.17 installed on Fedora Core 4 We've found the following problem: when virtualmin creates a virtual server, it puts such directives in Apache VirtualHost: Action application/x-httpd-php4 /cgi-bin/php4.cgi Action application/x-httpd-php5 /cgi-bin/php5.cgi AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php5 AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php .php4

After I installed postfix and stopped sendmail and started postfix and rebooted, Virtualmin configuration still says : "Mail server Sendmail is installed and configured."

Is there any module for FastCGI?? I want to have the following setup for users: Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby, FastCGI. Is there any more detailed instructions on the installation? (I can install Apache, PHP, Perl, Python, FastCGI on a server myself, but never tried them with suexec)

I updated my system from FC4 to FC5 and I had to remove mod_ssl-2.0.54-11.1.vm for it to do so.

no I am trying to put mod_ssl back in and it cannot find the vm version..

where can i get this file ??

Hi, does anyone know how can I prevent webmin users from accessing all files above their respective home folder when using the shell?

I would like to use "Install Script" function of virtualmin to install phpmyadmin and Horde to my server, but i have always this error :

It appears that Virtualmin Pro launches a copy of clamav every time a message is scanned.

In launching "clamscan" instead of launching "clamdscan" creates a complete copy of the following for EVERY message that comes through:

I believe that the default settings (if there is any) for Virus and Spam scanning is unlimited size.

Is there a option some where to limit the size of attachment scanning for clamav? I don't want files] 250000 bytes scanned and I cannot find the setting for configuring clamav to NOT scan files greater than 250000 bytes (or whatever value I decide).

Please help show me where the configuration is location as large files really don't need to be scanned in Virtualmin Pro and I'd like to stop clamav from choking the server.
