Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.
Does OpenSUSE 10.1 is supported by Virtualmin Pro ?
Hi,
I have been in the hosting and design business for years and wanted to colo my own server. I am currently running about 35 domains on a plesk server with iPowerWeb. I have purchased your virtualmin product and set it up on a test machine here at home and so far it has been a fairly easy process. I have a couple of questions though:
Probably out of the scope of support for Virtualmin but here is the problem I am having.
I have installed Virtualmin an RHEL 4 ES and have it working OK.
I installed CFMX 7.O2 and have it working half way. By halfway I mean that it will process pages in the /var/www/html folder but it will not process the files in the virtual directories. It gives me a CF File Not Found error, not an Apache error.
Does anybody know of a solution?
I thought of maybe having the virtual directories in the /var/www/html folder but I don't know if that is possible.
I have a Centos 4.3 Server with Webmin and virtualMin GPL installed but have not setup any domains as of yet. I would like to install the Pro and would like to know if I need to uninstall webmin and virtualmin first. Webmin 1290 was installed from a rpm from Webmin.com and the virtualmin 3.190.gpl, was a wbm .
Thanks Bill
I have a little problem, the same problem that with fedora core 5.
I use CentOS with Plus repository activated, so i have mysql 5 and php 5.
Virtualmin pro works well but when i want to install a script, i have this error message :
This script cannot be installed, as this virtual server does not meet its requirements : phpMyAdmin requires the Apache mod_php4 module
same error that with FC5.
The FC5 fix on the FAQ don't works.
Many thanks for help.
Trying to get Spam Assassin to work. I have a fedora 5 with Virtualmin pro. Running everything as default setup. I can get email from postfix, but the headers have not been written to from Spam Assassin (with x-spam and the score).
I have restarted spamd and get the "ok" prompt. Any advise on how to troubleshoot this ?
Thanks
Mike

Is there an easy way to change a user's email and FTP login from this:
username.usersite
to their full email address?
Okay, I've spent money and not getting anywhere, so I need some serious help. None of the money has been with Virtualmin, so not to worry. Here's my story.
I have a Dedicated Red Hat Enterprise 4 system running at Godaddy.
They no longer support any Control Panels, and the only panel I'm somewhat knowledgeable on is Plesk, so I bought it at $200 for 30 domains I believe.
Now comes the fun.
I have 2 main problems, of which I'm open to help on either one.
I just purchased Virtualmin from you and want to make sure I am on the right track.
I am building a Redhat Enterprise Linux ES 4 server that i am putting in my house.
I have a dynamic IP address here.
I want to host several (approximately 8) virtual web sites / virtual mail servers on this server.
I am using NoIP (http://www.no-ip.com) for my DNS.
Will Virtualmin support that?
If yes, look for a support install purchase shortly because I am a Linux noobie.
