Recently I installed a webmin on my server. But I cannot accesss it from the internet. I just want to access it from the net. I am accessing it on my LAN.

Also I need to know about SSL tunneling.

I'm trying to change the default path for this, for all virtual domain's created. Where do I make the edit to have it point to a location of my choosing? Thank you!

Hello, I have services that have gone down, such as the websites I have installed using Virtualmin, but can't find where in Virtualmin to start them. I installed 4 websites yesterday and three of them are down today. Help on how to start them using Virtualmin would be appreciated.

I use virtualmin (GPL : Free version). I install Postfix and Squirrelmail. I can use Squirrelmail to send e-mail of virtual domain to other address but I couldn't receive e-mail from outside. Please help to tell me how can I do it?. I may missed to setup somethings.

Was about to install Perl module Authen::PAM when I saw "The following Perl modules are recommended for installation by Webmin :" which hade three modules highlighted, Authen::PAM, Authen::Libwrap and IO::Tty

Does this mean that I should install the recommended(highlighted) modules?

I installed virtualmin on a clean server running under CentOs. The install went smoothly and everything is working except ProFTPD. At first I got this error No Such group 'nogroup' Fatal: Group: Unknown group 'nogroup' on line 27 of /etc/proftpd.conf

I added a nogroup to my list of users. The error has gone away, but ProFTPD is never running and refuses to start. I can't find anything in the logs as to why. The are no error logs to report.

After working with trying to find out why, I got this message

proftpd dead by subsys locked etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd

I was wondering if someone coudln't verify or clarify the necessary steps to automatically deploy certain files with each account creation. Specifically, I want to deploy a hardlink to php-fcgi in fcgi-bin/ along with a default index.html in public_html/

I looked to /etc/skel expecting I would see the default template there but the directory is empty. Is it necessary to recreate the files like fcgi-bin/ and public_html/ in order for files to be properly placed when accounts are created?

Is there a directory where virtualmin stores its own default account template?

when i try to run the install.sh i get

[[root@dsapache opt]]# ./install.sh

bad interpreter: No such file or directory

any ideas what might be wrong
