I am trying to install joomla on the gpl version while I am waiting for my license to come through.
When i get to the prerequisites everything is just fine except for mysql.
Have I done something wrong?

I'm trying to add a redirect for domain.com/folder --> www.domain2.com
I'm pretty sure these are to be setup in "Permanent URL redirects"

Please I did not understand how to configure postfix if I try to create a virtual server tells me: Failed to create virtual server : No virtual domains file (virtual_alias_maps) was found in your Postfix configuration!
I have a question about the pro version for FreeBSD. If I manually install and configure the pro version do I get the install scripts or are they not built to run on FreeBSD? If not I'm wondering what I get with the pro version.
So Joe what's the state of the install script I could beta test it if you like.
I have created a domain in VirtualMin. Now the domain can be accessed in http.
1) But I cannot connect to its pop3 or smtp server.
2) I've used the Readmail section to send emails. It can send email out to my yahoo account. But if I try to send emails to the domain that I have set, the emails stay in the queue.

I've setup a FTP user through "Add a website FTP access user." on a subdomain. It connects fine, but doesn't list, chdirs or upload files. For some reason I can't chmod the directory to this user (user.domain); the directory is owned by the domain user. Any ideas of what could be happening?

I am not able to verify that Virtualmin will automatically detect that JavaScript is not available and function correctly. (Some of the advertising copy seems to make this claim.)
I switched off JavaScript in Opera, then went to the demo site at http://virtualmin-demo.virtualmin.com/ and logged in as the demo user "demodomain" with password "demo".

This is probably more of a Webmin question (sorry if this is OT), however how can I run webmin on say panel.example.com only?. Ie, I don't want any of the virtual hosts to be able to access them via 'virtualhost1.com:port'.

Hi. I am attempting to install Virtualmin on a RHEL 4 box. The installation script fails when it tries to access the repository with an HTTP 404 error. It looks like the script cannot determine my OS version number and substitutes NULL as the directory name:
