I'm thinking of using Mail-Mime which does not appear to be installed. PEAR 1.4.9 is installed

I tried to install: pear install Mail_Mime-1.5.2 but says pear/Mail_Mime requires PEAR Installer (version >= 1.6.0), installed version is 1.4.9 pear/Mail_mimeDecode requires PEAR Installer (version >= 1.6.0), installed version is 1.4.9 pear/Mail_mimeDecode requires package "pear/Mail_Mime" (version >= 1.4.0, excluded versions: 1.4.0)

tried using : pear upgrade-all didn't work as I thought then : pear channel-update pear.php.net

we have multiples domains as .net .com, ect and we want to point all of them to the same virtual server? Is this possible?

sorry for raising the alarm but I was updating some 30 packages using virtualmin package update module and I think the connection broke, anyway, it hang for like half an hour with no output. After that I tried getting back to the system information page and virtualmin is not loading. I tried rebooting the vps and it does not launch. My websites are only and I can login thru ssh.

Is there anything I can try at the shell? a log file for virtualmin or some kickstart shell program I can launch...

I've setup Webmin + Virtualmin GPL on ubuntu server. I tried to enable unlimited database for user but I can't find the "Wildcard for additional allowed MySQL databases" in server template. Anybody can help me with this?

I've installed virtual min with no problem. I'm trying to setup the DNS server and it's being quite obnoxious. It's complaining about: Download failed : Failed to open /var/run/bind/run/named.pid /var/run/named.pid for writing : Bad file descriptor I'm running ubuntu server 8.10 and, i have even chmodded those files to 777 to test if that was the issue, I have googled since 7 am till now (4:30) and the only help and support is for cent os with installing bind-chroot. I searched for a similar package on ubuntu in the apt-get repositories and i have found nothing.

My webmin/virtualmin installation has had problems since it was installed by my hosts technitians, but as its an unmanaged account they are not to helpful.

I have uptill now managed to sort of get it working, BUT seems now its worse than ever. I am not sure what I have done or what went wrong.

I am looking for someone to take a look and help sort it out. I am willing to pay if need be as I am tired of having to keep on changing the records when a new virtual server is created, it also does not always create the email setup for the accounts.

I have nearly a dozen sites on my VM - GPL managed server. Several of these are membership organizations. In setting up listserves I have tried to use members@domain.tld several times. It worked the first time but subsequently I get an error - duplicate name. The fully qualified name is not duplicated, just the name of the list at that domain. Does anyone have an idea about how to get several listserves in different domains to have the same listname?

Using virtualmin 3.67 GPL. I have 30 virtual servers created but can't add any more. It goes through the process and says done but the new virtual server is not available.

I can't find anything that describes this limit. Am at a total loss.
