Hello, I am trying to configure Virtualmin GPL Apache 2 and fcgi, running at a Debian 4.0 Etch virtuozzo VPS, 512 MB ram, to a demanding php4 application that needs php memory_limit of 64 MB. I have read the Apache doc [0] and after reading about the PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN bug [1] [2], will use only Apache and, maybe, some other fcgi configurations [3]. Given that [4] explanations warns to avoid double spawning management (apache and php), maybe using DefaultMaxClassProcessCount, and reading doc about Virtualmin in low memory systems [5],

I have problems with postfix (I have now 4 Domains (vServer) on my System:

I am having all sorts of problems trying to get Virtualmin to work using the Amazon EC2 AMI. I activated an EC2 image and was able to log on and create some domains (I thought). I was then able to FTP to these sites and upload site content into the FTP login directory. However when I try to browse to any of the sites I only get the default Apache start page.

I've got three wordpress sites with very similar templates.

Two of them (all three were working), I imported into virtualmin. The third is just a translation of one of those two but has the same 'theme' etc.

The two imported ones: I can see them fine in IE7, but not in FF or Chrome. Some people report they don't see them in IE7 either.

The not imported one is visible to all.

I have successfully installed Virtualmin GPL on a CentOS5 VPS that I set up. I have some experience with linux but more from a web design background. So I can edit files, change permissions, follow tutorials (even if I don't understand everything), and a few other things. This is my first foray into building a system and configuring it for webhosting.

Hello, I guess that was after upgrading Virtualmin to 3.69, the postfix stopped to send emails The error displayed is:

<some_address@bol.com.br>: Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=bol.com.br type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type

I am doing a test restore of a backup made using the Backup Format option of Single Archive File. However when I go to restore this file using either the web interface or restore-domain.pl it tells me that it is not a valid Not a valid tar or tar.gz file

If use the one file per server option i get a directory with 1 .tar.gz for each site.

So

a) what format is the file? I can do a more on it and view all the site settings, and it clearly isn't a tar or gz file.

b) how can I do a restore from this file?

I've tried to disable adding deniedssh group to /etc/ssh/sshd_config but with no success.

Is there any way to do this. But keep users added into deniedssh group (one day I will need this added to /etc/ssh/sshd_config).
