Webmin

Hello

I would like to create a domain in Webmin and I have not installed Virtualmin on my server. Is there any way to create domains from Webmin? I have googled it and found that we can create under servers ->Apache servers. but the option Apache servers is not available under servers in my Webmin panel. Can I know about this?

File Manager is not working in my Windows 8 computer unlike a Win7 PC I have.

I've tried everything I found in many forums but wasn't lucky yet.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to fix it or else is there an alternative which is not java-based?

Using Virtualmin / Webmin to administer a bunch of client domains (i'm a webmaster) ...

In setting up individual domain admin access thru the domain's admin login (webmin, port 1001), it seems the domain owner has a very limited set of controls to work with, and oddly enough, cannot access or manage databases for his own domain.

Is this something that can be customized or changed, or is it a built-in limitation of Webmin?

System is VirtualMin/WebMin managing Ubuntu Server 12.04 64-bit. I have set "Software Package Updates / Scheduled checking options" to check daily, email me updates report and to "Install security updates".

So far over a period of weeks it has emailed me the update reports reliably, but cannot see that it has installed any security updates - including recent openSSL updates that are marked as "Security Updates".

I have just had to install these and previous updates manually via the WebMin interface, which worked without any problem.

Hi, new to Virtualmin, installed GPL on Centos 6.5 32-bit. I set up domains and users just fine. I added aliases for a few emails and emails to those addresses are getting delivered to root, not the aliased user.

I verified I have FQDN set and I do have reverse dns working. Here's the mail log for an entry. It shows it being delivered to root instead of the aliased user.

Does anyone know how to fix the following PCI failures?

I have followed all recommendations online about disabling SSL2 and yet I still get the following PCI fail:

TCP 25 smtp 5.0 Description: SSL Version 2 (v2) Protocol Detection

TCP 25 smtp 4.3 Description: SSL Weak Cipher Suites Supported

TCP 25 smtp 4.3 Description: SSL Medium Strength Cipher Suites Supported

VirtualMin and Ubuntu server 12.04 - on attempting to activate Google Too-Factor authentication produces the error message: Failed to save two-factor authentication : The Perl module Authen::OATH needed for two-factor authentication is not installed. Use the Perl Modules page in Webmin to install it.

Using the link to "Perl Modules" appears to work OK except for "Simple Moose (Missing 1 modules)".

Any news when Webmin will start to support managing ZFS on Linux (Centos, Ubuntu)? It seems stable now and it is super easy to implement by the looks of it compared to Linux raid.

Okay. So. My "Disk Quota" section (Webmin>>System>>Disk Quotas) says that 14.4GB are being used by the syslog, but I can't seem to find that file anywhere. Any suggestions? I've already checked /var/log

I'm stumped. Is there any way to find the path to the 'syslog' that's referred to?
