Webmin

I have a Webmin-Virtualmin installation on my Ubuntu server with 2GB memory but every so often webmin crashes and I find out that it crashed because of ClamAV (using command dmesg). It consumes too much memory. Now I don't want to disable it as it seems important to scan emails for viruses but is there an option for using less memory. I only use 30% of memory under normal load.

I need to set up a domain , database in webmin and I do not know how. I want to do this without virtualmin got some video tutorials but they are old and it seems there are changes because even though I followed this tutorial it did not work for me

Hi,

Virtual server owner can apply php and apache changes by clicking the "apply changes" button within webmin interface. But can it be done usi g command line ?

One virtual server update settings by scripts and need to restart php-fpm (without having sudo access - and only the one related to the current virtual server). What's the command line to do it ?

I have an new server with Centos 7. Migrated sites from an older Centos 6 server. All is working except Webmin keeps stopping. When it is stopped YUM is also not working. (If I reboot it comes up but stops after a few minutes.) If I restart webmin I get this error:

Hi, I have been using webmin for more than 10 years on all my linux servers, but unfortunately Version 1.910 is missing the files to run the original file manager written in java. The link is still there but you get file not found error. If you copy the missing files from a previous version it works without problems. On my instaltion that is /usr/libexec/webmin/file.

Hi, I have installed webmin/virtualmin on centos 7 and setup mail server. Everything working as it should but now I want to allow user to use shared and public mailbox. I have followed instruction from dovecot wiki but without success, can someone please post a guide how to make this work on webmin.

Trying to get Samba running and its loaded but cannot see it on my other systems. Windows shows the error with cannot communicate the server is there but not responding to connection attempts. I can get in web and ssh etc but not samba, It's debian 9,

I do have a U-Nas packaged Debian 8 test system on it and Samba works though trying to check configs between the two I cannot see exactly what the problem is.

I know that by default, webmin iptables shows you the config file, and not any "temporary" rules running in iPTables. And yes, I know there is an option to change the module config so you can edit the iptable rules directly allowing you to see all currently running rules/chains/etc.

What I don't know, is what is the "expected" behavior of fail2ban in webmin's IP tables config.
