Webmin

I am trying to see if a port i have opened in firewalld is actually accessible from outside.

The reason for this is because i have had some problems with automatic provisioning modules (Blesta) accessing the server to interract with it for user accounts and webhosting services.

Webmin>Networking>FirewallD>Public (default)

added allowed port "2304"

Summary

After today security updates, after reboot, Webmin does not show Bind as running. But it is. This is the first challenge. Also Webmin send automated email notifications about Bind not running. But it is. This is the second challenge. At first it seems that Bind somehow failed to automatically start at server boot. But it did. Somehow Webmin does not show Bind as running. But using Terminal/Console, according to Bind itself, it is happily running.

Usermin version 1.751 Virtualmin version 6.06-2

When running to following commands i get the following errors

Dealing with a flood of spam each day - and I think I could drastically reduce the volume if I can modify a few rules which seem to be triggered by a majority of the messages.

For example, this is a rule that's triggered by several of the messages each day:

0.8 RDNS_NONE Delivered to internal network by a host with no rDNS

I've looked everywhere for this rule ... nothing. I've tried adding this rule and custom scoring to my local.cf file ... nothing.

I am having trouble understanding DNSSEC in combination with Godaddy. I have enabled DNSSEC inside virtualmin/webmin and it made the entries. But Godaddy is asking for the following "Key Tag", "Algorithm", "Digest Type" and "Digest". In my CP i see "Show public and private key-signing-key details .." and "Show public and private zone-key details ..". What do i need to fill in at Godaddy to make it work.

I am actively using Webmin and was wondering if there is any way running the Webmin server in Read Only mode. I want to be able to check every single setting but not to be able to change something until I switch to "normal" mode. Mistakes are done by accident and the goal is to avoid them as much as possible, since VtirualMin/WebMIn are really "powerful" as instruments

I am new and was wondering where the topic should be since I am asking for the same thing for both VirtualMin and Webmin. I am cross referencing the other topic I've created.

Hello i changed default value from Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> Advanced Options and set as /root because i was getting issue with Scheduling backup

now i have nothing in root directory, everthing disappeasrd

can any one help why this happend?

I used to user username.domain when I would log into webmin. or into any mail client. Now I just noticed on one of my domains that it says the username is username@domain. However my other domains are still username.domain.

Is there something that has changed in virtualmin or creating account recently?
