Webmin

Hey there,

I tried to add a cluster server to add second server.

I started cluster server on main server, then i added user or smth, and every privilege is gone from webmin/virtualmin.

Now when i log in my account with root password of my server, all menus are gone, only webmin with a search box and system information appears in window.

How do i restore back all my privileges?

I get this error Access denied : User "my login name" is not allowed to use the Webmin Configuration module.

Dear genius, I spend lot of time to read documentation but i don't find where to modify the IP address. I've 5 IP address, i don't know why, the main address changed by an alternative address.
I need to go back the good one.

Hi, I've stopped and disabled the bootup of the processes clamav-daemon and clamav-freshclam but every 60 minutes if I take the command top I can watch 2-3 processes name clamscan that use 40/50% of CPU..

How to disable this scan?

I installed the latest version of virtualmin over ubuntu18, I need to use port 2096. I did different tests but I can't connect even when I try to use port 10001, please help me. I made the port change from the webmin web interface and also from the Ubuntu 18 Linux console, I also opened the port in the firewallD, I am only able to connect when I configure the 10000 port.

/etc/webmin/miniserv.conf port = 10000 listen = 10000 service webmin restart

/etc/firewalld/zones/public.xml

All help and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance

This came with the default install of virtural min but the service is managed in webmin and wont start there so I am posting here. The service refuses to start and I have no clue where to even begin to resolve this as I have never seen this in 10 years of using MySQL/MariaDB.

A couple of weeks ago I built a VPS from Contabo. They installed Centos 7 and Webmin. I realized that fail2ban was not working properly. The only setting I've changed was some Time to Ban. Letting the action ban to firewallcmd-ipset in some common services like postfix, postfix-sasl, dovecot, proftpd from fail2ban.log I got errors like

webmin login doesnt open but usermin login page opens

https://109.70.3.162:10000/ - doesnt open

https://109.70.3.162:20000/ - opens fine

the installtion was completed successfully...

please help..

Hi All, currently working to build up a replacement mail host using Centos7, wondering if webmin/virtualmin is compatible with postfix version 3.4?? I installed the newer postfix but webmin thinks its 2.11 still and virtualmin is complaining about a map source.
