We use virtualmin for email for most of the users in our company, but a few would like to start using Google Apps instead (due to available CRM tools). This configuration is supported by Google Apps - it's called "Split Delivery" and is documented here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/173534?hl=en

Installed Fail2ban on a fresh Webmin/Virtualmin system, and it fails out of the box.

My webmin dashboard shows 98% virtual memory usage since the past few days. Real memory usage is only 14% Is there anything wrong, if yes how do I troubleshoot this?

I had this problem in the past I was able to fix. Not this time.

i am getting "Connection closed by remote host" error but via usermin email is working. All ports are open.

Webmin/Virtualmin GPL on Debian 8.1 (2GB Linode).

Is there a way to automatically retrieve emails arriving in previous mailboxes when transfering customers to my hosting ?? transfer during time of DNS refresh so no emails lost !

In Webmin's DNS module, the phrase "forward zone" is used with two meanings.

On the Webmin : Servers : DNS Server page, the link "Create forward zone" means forwarding name server, not a forward zone.

But on the Webmin : Servers : DNS Server : Create Master Zone page, "Zone type Forward" means a forward zone, not a forwarding name server.

We have experienced an ongoing problem of FTP service quitting, typically over a weekend which is also when we perform our major offsite backups to Amazon.com. A restart of the server corrects the problem, but surely there could be a fix or a way to track down the problem's origin. We are hosting at Linode.com
