Webmin

Hello!

I have installed the last webmin version, but when I access via 'https://' the brownser does not open the page, the page still at 'loading state' and get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in Chrome.

On one of my servers I saw an update for Authentic theme but Usermin was stuck on 1.73 if I recall. On another server it was automatically updated to 1.741 so the theme was updated succesfully. I run the console script update and it updated usermin, virtualmin and Authentic theme after that: Warning! In order to have System Information displayed you will need to enable System Status module in user settings.

yesterday i had a strange error for the 3rd time in the past 6 months or so. it looks like this : https://www.virtualmin.com/node/10374 but what happens is that main.cf in postfix loses 90 lines (from 60-150) of configuration from main.cf (!?) for example (main.cf.bkp is yesterday's corrupt main.cf) :

I was surprised that Fail2ban is now installed by default after setting up a new server with Webmin (which made a lot of trouble during the initial install...)

I uses csf/lf, so I don't need this feature, I prefer csf that has a webmin GUI. How can I disable it? Uninstall ? Don't start at boot time?

I successfully installed and configured csf/lf However, it does not appear in the Webmin system menu nor anywhere else. Reassign module in Webmin configuration does not include csf either. I can still reach this module through the index status page.

After updating from webmin 1.880 to webmin 1.881 (in the hopes that a newer version of authentic theme was included - it was not), the file manager no longer loads at all.

So, where should I look in the webmin / authentic theme code for the issue first?

I tried to upgrade on cENTO 7.4 Webmin 1.880 and it dint complete the install and it froze or became inaccessible. I then restarted webmin from command line and it came back and now the WEBMIN ver shows as 1.880

Today I see another update available 1.881-1 on centos 6.9 - Has there been any issue updating that? Please share.

Not sure if this is a bug or me being a noob.

i've got a fresh Webmin install (v1.872) on CentOS 7.

In Webmin> Webmin Configuration > SSL Encryption the default is "Only strong PCI-compliant ciphers". When I change this to "Only stron gciphers with perfect forward secrecy" it fails with error "Failed to save SSL options : PFS requires Net::SSLeay version 1.57, but this system only has version 1.55"

yum list perl-Net-SSLeay* shows only .. perl-Net-SSLeay.x86_64 1.55-6.el7

I would like to install Zrchive_Zip through PHP Pear Modules due to OpenCart requires PHP Zip extension but the following error occurs.

Failed to download pear/Archive_Zip within preferred state "stable", latest release is version 0.1.2, stability "beta", use "channel://pear.php.net/Archive_Zip-0.1.2" to install install failed

Does anyone know how to fix it?

After updating to Webmin 1.880 downloading a file from the file manager no longer works. It just results in significant cpu use by the browser but nothing happens (Firefox 58.0.2).
