[SOLVED]: ProFTPD will not reinstall - Requires Webmin 1.870

Forums:

Getting this error whenever I try to reinstall ProFTPD.

Failed to install standard module : Module proftpd requires Webmin version 1.870 or above

I have checked and I am running Webmin 1.860 but there is no update (in the updates section) to update to 1.87 so how am I supposed to reinstall this? I had removed it as I wasn't using it but now I am I need to reinstall.

NOTE: It appears there is a 1.870 version but only on the Pro side. Can someone give me an update of when this is likely to be release on GPL?

Feature Request: Add "Resolve hostnames on every request?" to the Webmin Users IP Access Control

Forums:

In Webmin Configuration -> IP Access Control there is the option to "Resolve hostnames on every request?". This would be necessary for dynamic hostnames for myself and some customers. but i dont use this global option as some customers dont have hostnames, so I must globally allow from all.

PEM Format error (SSL)

Forums:

Just did a new installation - getting the following error when even trying to save the default SSL cert:

Failed to save SSL options : The SSL private key file /etc/webmin/miniserv.pem does not exist or does not contain a PEM format key

Tried it on the other couple of installations we have, and it's giving the same error despite having valid certs in the browser. I can't see anything in any logs.

Thanks

valid letsencrypt secure page only port 10000

Forums:

Operating system CentOS Linux 7.4.1708 Webmin version 1.860 Virtualmin version 6.01

Hello,

I am having some issues regarding the use of letsencrypt. First I attempted to implement it via Webmin/Virtualmin which did not seem to work therefore I opted to install certbot on my ssh terminal. This appears to have obtained a valid certificate as it shows it is working when I run test commands but for some reason I can only get a secure page on port 10000. The usual ssl port of 443 shows an insecure page and leaves an option to manually accept an improper certificate.

Im totally lost ---upgraded to php 5.6 - now my wordpress sites only say "You have chosen to open"

my problems is that if I go to any of my wordpress websites or click any dashboard links (dashboards open before php update to 5.6) there is this error popup.....

You have chosen to open xxx.php which is a php script from: http://any of my sites.com

Saving virtualmin login info to text file

Forums:

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way save details for every virtualmin successful login. I see a similar topic here, but unfortunately I cannot replicate https://www.virtualmin.com/comment/571882

The first thing is the login_script parameter already exists in the file /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf, it is login_script=/etc/webmin/login.pl, should I add another line login_script=/etc/webmin/script.sh ?
