Is there any ETA when the installer script will support Ubuntu 18.04?
I like to back up /etc folder and have always had to backup via the file system backup module to local disk and then rsync to remote server on non standard ssh port.
When editing a mysql user via Webmin -> Servers -> MySQL Database Server -> User Permissions An setting the password to 'None', an error is shown: "Failed to save user : SQL update user set password = NULL where user = ? and host = ? failed : Unknown column 'password' in 'field list'"
Should probably be "update user set authentication_string = NULL where user = ? and host = ?"

Hello!
I'm setting up three virtualmin server (master and 2 slaves). My question is I want to configure wich DNS address in network configuration
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DNS1=127.0.0.1
DNS2=108.61.10.10 #vultr dns
DNS3=1.1.1.1
Here is my questions:
1 - The 127.0.0.1 needs to be the DNS1?
2 - The DNS2 and DNS3 are irrelevant here?
3 - The network configuration in slave zone will be the same as the master?
Hi,
when changing the SSH port from default (22) to anything other in 'Webmin - Servers - SSH Server- Networking' and applying the configuration, new connections are propperly allow on the given port.
After a restart however the ssh connection no longer work, as the buld in FirwalleD still only allows connections via port 22.
In my previous question I was asking on how to configure gmail for sending email, I figured it out myself and it works. This time I want to send using Office 365. It's the same menu under: Webmin -> Webmin configuration -> Sending Email, just changed the fileds from gmail to Office 365. Here's a screenshot: https://ibb.co/gE12E7 I tried changing "SMTP authentication method" to either "Plain" and "Login", but unfortunately neither works and I get:
I setup the Let'S Encrypt through the control panel of Webmin/Virtualmin.
Under Virtualmin> Manage SSl Certificate I had the choice to request a certificate for "domains associated with this server" or "domains listed here"
The former listed the 2 domain names on the virtual server, and the latter listed the server's host domain name.
I chose the former thinking that the current LE certificate was covering the hostname domain.
I then requested (re-requested) the certificate.
Mistake.
I have a unbuntu 16.04 server, a MacBook, and a printer. The goal is to create a folder on the server that the printer can write to and the user(s) can access.
I've created a user called printer on the server. I've created a folder called documents on the server. I've created a Samba Share called masterdocuments with the printer -and- me as a valid user.
When I try to mount the share on my Mac, I am only able to do so when I use the credentials of the printer user. How do I:
