Change login name from user.domain to user@domain for already created users

Forums:

Hi, i recently change format user name from user.domain to user@domain in server default template and is great for new accounts, but i have a lot of accounts already created. How can i change format for that users? Is there a way i can login with both formats? (only for some time to have softer migration)

Thanks

Bind Cluster Server problem

Forums:

I am attempting to cluster a server on webmin and bind and running into the old "is not running Webmin version 1.202 or above."

I have gone through a dozen different articles here and on the web and all of them seem to point to a problem in the firewall. Ive opened ports 10000-10014 on both TCP and UDP. Server A is running Debian 9, Server B using FirewallD is running Ubuntu 18.04LTS using Linux Firewall.

Blu Ray burning

Forums:

Hi it would be handy to be able to take an optical backup of some folders on the server periodically.

I installed the Webmin CD Burner module and tried to burn a blu-ray with it but it just spat the disc out of the drive...

Does anyone know how to change the CD Burner module settings so this is possible or could we get a module update to bring it up-to-date for DVD and Blu Ray burning too?

Thanks for any help.

Apache2 Fails to Start after recent auto package update...

Forums:

I'm going out of my mind.

Last night at about 7:55, two apache packages were updated to the latest version. Since then Apache has been down and won't start.

I just looked in what appears to be an error log just about when the problem started that has this in it 36 times:

AH00112: Warning: DocumentRoot [/var/lib/letsencrypt/tls_sni_01_page/] does not exist

Sure enough, that doesn't exist, but I don't know what this means.

Followed by this:

Copy to Postfix

Forums:

“Copy to postfix. (Button) Use this certificate in Postfix for SSL-protected SMTP connections by mail clients.”

Does this mean that if you click the button “this certificate” will be used in Postfix for all virtual servers on the physical server or should you click the button for each virtual server with SSL?
