I am very new to postfix, I just took over my supervisors job and am having some trouble. I need to know how to remove the spam tag from email from a certain domain. I am open to any insight, websites, suggestions, things to watch out for.

I'm planning on changing my server services to a brand new machine that's going to run Virtualmin PRO. How do I change easily web, database, ssh, email and name services from Virtualmin GPL (Virtualmin 3.23 and webmin 1.300). Now my name services are are elsewhere but I'm planning on using the old machine as ns2 and make the new machine also primary name server.

How do I enable authentication for outgoing/sending mail with our server?

In the default config/install anyone can connect to our server and send mail to all users/domains on the server. The smtpd authentication only stops relaying to addresses outside the server.

I want to restrict sending mail with our server to ONLY authenticated users, and I think Postfix has a option called: smtp_sasl_auth_enable

I think I have found the simplest way to install yum on RHEL4 incase anyone needs help.

after i saw, that there is a new version out, which fixes the postfix/dovecot probs on unbuntu servers , i just made a backup of all my virtual domains and ran the update for virtualmin.

arrgss.... after the update, no php site shows and i get a lot of erros with susec.......

ok, no problem, i ve a backup ....

so, reinstalled box with a fresh ubunt 6.06 , modifieyed the sources.list made apt-get update apt-get upgrade
all perfect, with no errors or warnings ..

This is the error i get when trying to start Apache.. I have absolutely no clue on were to start to fix this.. I saw a possible solution, cant recall what tho.., but that didnt work. It only gave me a unknown command error..

What can i do to fix this and get apache running?

I am trying to enable the setup of an SSL website at the time of adding a new domain. Would like to have any SSL connections for a virtual domain point to /$HOME/httpsdocs

Apache says it supports SSL though I keep getting this error:

Failed to modify server : SSL cannot be enabled unless a virtual IP interface or private port is enabled

I installed webmin & Virtualmin yesterday on my VPS (centos 4.4/i386). All has been going well though when I setup a new domain and user, the user cannot access the home directory. Error is 'incorrect login'.

there was a /bin/false error on install, added this to /etc/shells as instructed (very nice)

Any ideas as to why the vhost works on http but user cannot access via ftp to upload files?

Scoured the forum and tried a few suggestions...still no go.
