So, i huge problem in hands... some body started to send SPAM out of my server, plus phishing... Lovelly, i had to hunt him down!

So, i started to re configure POSTFIX in order to make DSL DNS lookups, using sbl.spamhaus.org, on the SMTP server configuration features, inside Postfix server config.

However, i'm unable to send emails, as they all get queued... even after i take RBL lookup out of STMP server config's.

I have an application running using mysql and postgre, and my customers via a destop application (and it doesn't matter where they are) can access this information

So... my question is... How can I allow remote access for mysql and postgre for any ip?

I am trying to migrate my entire server but I am still facing a few problems with Virtualmin Pro and I really appreciate if someone could help me.

1) A lot of my customers use joomla, but in my new server running Virtualmin Pro, they cannot change any file in the Administrator area (file permissions). I read in a few tickets to chmod all files and folder to 777 but I really dont think that it is a good idea. Is there anything else that I could do about that?

I seem to have a problem when I try to use virtualmin's backup system. It would run through the backup process fine, with no errors on the summary sheet or in the e mail that is sent.

But when I check the destination server it is not present, I have tried to monitor the proces, and I see the tar'ing stage but then it seems to not do the scp transfer phase.

I tried using scp from the command line and it does transfer to the destination server without any problems.

Host server : gentoo 2007 virtalmin gpl 3.23 Dest server : gentoo 2007

I am using virtualmin pro and When I try to execute a sql script into a postgresql database i get the error:

psql: FATAL: Ident authentication failed for user "postgres"

Someone could help me to fix that issue?

I have virtualmin pro installed in my server (ubuntu 6.10), and I would like to know if someone could help me to set my domains to be redirected with/without www.

For example:

mydomain.com | www.mydomain.com | - > Go to the same folder /home/mydomain/public_html

Is there a way for virtualmin to add a PTR entry to the SPF entry in the DNS Zone when a new server is created by default?

When certain users send email on my server to other local users, they are being marked as spam. This brings up my question: How can I bypass spam and virus scanning entirely for authenticated senders, or at the very least, have spamassassin reduce the score for these users?

I have read other posts about improper disk usage reporting, but this is happening on a newly created domain. When I create this particular domain, it reports that it is taking up 1.2GB, when it is actually closer to 15MB. I created a test server with identical settings and that took up 654KB. I have deleted the domain in question and recreated it several times and each time it reports taking up 1.2GB. There are no email accounts set up or databases. I am baffled. Any ideas?

I am after the correct DNS settings for each of my sites. I wanted to set them all up as master DNS if that is the right way to do it.

The local network IP address is 192.1xx.x.xx

The server IP address is a local ISP 203.1xx.x.xx

If I want them all to act as master DNS servers this is how I have them at the moment
